A Heavenly Plan (Slice of Life Supernatural RP): The Reboot

So. My friend Zero gave me permission to reboot this thing, which sadly never got off the ground. So, yeah.

Setting

There is small, peaceful town called Mitsuki somewhere in Japan (but of course), sitting comfortably next to a lake, away from the big cities. The lake itself is a popular hang-out for the local kids, along with the old, abandoned Christian church at the lakeside, which is often used for summer "bravery tests". The town has but one high school, and so most of the youth population know each other.

But.

This sleepy town will soon be the center of....

A Heavenly Plan

On the heavens above, Metatron, Heaven's Secretary, has concocted a bold and controversial plan.

A few young Angels, the most powerful of their generation and also the ones with the most to learn, will be sent down to Mitsuki and will live among humanity for a year.

The angels will be stripped of most of their power, earning it back little by little until the year is up.

To aid the angels in their lesson, Metatron has chosen several teenagers from among the youths of the town. They will be bound to an angel and act as their guide on earth.

But not every force in the universe is in agreement with this plan. Michael himself has stated his doubts. But there are others. Others that are far more...sinister.

So yah! Here we go!

• Angelic Name: Ramiel, Thunder of God.
• Human Name: Rai Kisaragi
• Age: Doesn't keep track/17
• Gender: Male.
• Appearance: Hmmph.◊
• Powers: Befitting the Thunder of God, Ramiel controls the lightning, striking the enemies of the Most High. in his weakened state, he can only control the absolute least of the lightning and he's very touchy about that... He is a born warrior, with the tactical and martial skills needed for a leading war captain. Apart from his manipulation of electricity, Ramiel has a softer side, that of the Angel of Dreams and Visions. He is the one who sends forth these things to chosen men. Unfortunately, he cannot use these while in human form.
• Personality: Brash, confident and zealous, Ramiel is a warrior through and through. Although his heart is in the right place, Ramiel can only be considered...cocky. He's notorious for being a loose cannon, and his pride almost always gets in his way. He has a temper as well, and a tendency to zap first and ask questions later. He cares about humans and does his utmost to protect them, but often acts downright Tsundere. This makes the Angel of Thunder humanity's resident big brother: cocky, sarcastic, rough, a bit bullying, but ultimately loving.
• Bio: Born a warrior, lives as a warrior. Ramiel has lived through most of the conflicts in heaven, and his comrades both like him and think he's a bit nuts. When Metatron told him of the plan, he laughed his butt of. Until the Secretary told him he was part of it, no ifs or buts. He's...kinda reluctant.
• Reason for being in the plan: Personality defects. his pride has become an issue more than once. And we all know what happened the last time an angel became too prideful.

I was really looking forward to having this start up last time. If a few more people express interest, I'd be glad to get back on board.

Regarding the supernatural, what kind of things might be encountered (besides angels and maybe demons)? In fact, is there a definitive God figure or is it just a celestial council/society that lacks a supreme ruler like that?

Oh, and regarding Player Angels: Do they have to be angels that exist, or could people make up their own angel? It would also be good to know how many generations/classes of angel there are.

Let it be known that my interest for this exists.

• Angelic Name: Lailah
• Human Name: Lily Friedman
• Age: 2,500/16
• Gender: Female
• Powers: Lailah is the angel of night and the angel that puts souls into babies before they're born and watches over them in the womb. As a full-blown angel she can teleport, create large areas of darkness, induce sleep, and do general all-purpose smiting. She also, in relation to her duties, can show an individual its future or the results of a certain action, and can strike a person on a certain spot to give them amnesia (this is why babies are born knowing nothing, apparently.) In the human world, these are obviously scaled down. She can get a vague feeling of how an event will play out, but nothing specific. She can't teleport, but can create areas of darkness or cause sleep, though it's more difficult. Also, she can still erase memories - though not of an entire life, obviously.
• Personality: A very maternal angel, as is expected from her duty. She tries to behave with kindness towards everyone, since the only times she interacts with humans are when they're innocent babies or recently-dead humans. This unfortunately has given her a slightly skewed version of how humans behave, or rather why they behave the way they do. She tries to both mother the other angels, and at the same time not be too overbearing.
• Bio: Not much to say, really. Her duty kept her busy for most of her time, so she didn't really know anyone other than the souls she ferried back and forth. This RP will be the first time she's really interacting with anyone for a long time - especially with her fellow angels.
• Reason for being in the plan: She wanted to - she sees people at their birth, at death, and watches over in between, but she wanted to see what it was like from a closer perspective, hoping it would let her do her job better. Also, the brass figured that having a mind-wiper might be of some help during the mission.

• Angelic Name: Castiel
• Human Name: Cass T. Ellen
• Age: 2,000/18
• Gender: Angels are genderless, but they will have to pick a masculine gender when on earth.
• Powers: Extremely hard to kill with strength to match. Becomes harder to kill with increases in power, starts off as having tough skin—like Kevlar—and a head as solid as a brick wall. Super-Strength is and always will be much lower scale—at present he can heft a chair around with ease, but at max he might be able to heave a tree trunk around.
• Personality: Cass is basically a big dumb Labrador Retriever. He has a heart of gold, and a brain of soft, gently melted cheese—possibly Velveeta. He's trying to learn to be better at thinking things through, but since he knows he's no good at thinking things through he always asks for help on what to do. He gets paralyzed by any form of choice and even in a fight is slow and ponderous to act. Most decisions will involve helping or protecting His Person in whatever way is most direct. When he gets in fights, he tries to just calm the other person down and otherwise end the fight nonlethally.
• Bio: Castiel has been a soldier most his life. A leg-breaker, honestly, enforcing rules up in Heaven and beating the hell out of monsters back on Earth. He didn't question it, or otherwise stir things up, but he was having a lot of trouble thinking, preventing him from being promoted to anything past Biggest Guy In The Room Who Thus Gets The Biggest Weapons And Armor, Point Him At What Needs To Die.
• Reason for being in the plan: He was volunteered for the position by a commanding officer that thought he could stand to learn to be a little smarter.

This is a neat idea. I'd like to offer my interest. If that's alright, I'll write out a character. Hopefully, this can get off the ground this time.

• Angelic Name: Rakemezaciel, The Echo of Divinity
• Human Name: Keito Mitsuragi
• Age: 2,400/18
• Gender: Masculine
• Appearance: Here ya go◊
• Powers: Rakemezaciel fashions deep places beneath the earth such as caves and undersea trenches and even in a human body he retains some control over the elements of stone and water. As an angel he could fashion grand structures of unsurpassed beauty out of stalagmites and stalactites or erode a space for an underground lake or river with but a thought, now such an action would take several weeks and much effort to avoid destabilizing the structure or damaging the cavern floors or ceiling.
• Personality: He is a very shy person having spent much of his existence in solitude building beautiful caverns rather than interacting with others. This does make him quite socially awkward even by angelic standards and he is capable of accidentally revealing or saying something about someone that is hurtful or rage inducing simply because he didn't know that he said something wrong. But for all his flaws he is a great lover of musics and architecture as well as a strong swimmer. His attitude towards the other angels is rather wary as he has never met any of them in his time alive and certainly never expected to.
• Bio: Not much too say here as I pretty much outlined it above. He was born then went to go do his job and has only had limited contact with any other angels most of them being much, much older.
• Reason to be in the Plan: One of the older angels of Earth volunteered him feeling sorry for the young angel that always seemed so absorbed by his work and never spoke to anyone, just got his orders and left to carry them out.

Name: Shinji Iori

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: 5'7, light tan skin, red hair in a short regent hairstyle. Makes sure to where a navy blue jacket over his shoulders whenever he can.

Personality: A Japanese Delinquent, who has no idea how to genuinely be a bad person. He can be crass, rough, loud, and a bit more energetic than delinquents seemingly tend to be. Is incredibly insecure about fitting in, so he keeps his tough guy act up most of the time. However, some of the insecurities have passed since his moving to Mitsuki, but he doesn't seem to know how to stop acting.

Skills/Talents: He learned a lot of street fighting while in the city, and despite his wiry frame, can pack quite a punch. He also recreationally took up parkour.

Bio: The son of a struggling author, who is forced to leave the city of Yokohama with his father, after his mom passes and his dad decides to move back to his home town. This happened a year ago, and Shinji still hasn't quite adjusted to small town life. When he first became interested in the Delinquent lifestyle, he was 13, and 15 when he first joined a gang. Although, even back then, he tried to be a moral center for his gang. When he was younger, his mother worked hard and long, but always found time for her son. That is something that can't be said for his father, who's laziness and aloofness drives Shinji crazy at times.

Hope this RP works out, and I hope Shinji is ok.

• Age: 19
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Well, whaddaya waitin' for punk!!
• Personality: Hyouryou is a very hotheaded young man prone to fits of rashness but when he wants to he's actually an excellent thinker. Can't stand most music though.
• Skills/Talents:
  • Has completed high school graduating as valedictorian of his class
  • Knows Judo
  • Sarcastic Git Extraordinaire
• Bio: Hyouryou was born and raised in the U.S.A. by his parents but they have recently fallen on some hard times so he's come to Mitsuki to live with his grandparents as a NEET for a while.

Name: Mori Shigeki

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Thin and short, he would look perfectly average if not for his hair, that reaches his back when it's not tied in a ponytail or a bun. He also dresses just like any other person his age, even though he likes dark colors (especially black) a lot.

Personality: Introverted and withdrawn, he rarely talks to strangers, and can seem emotionless to those who don't know him. However, he can be really nice to the people he actually is comfortable being with, even though he is quite awkward even when talking to them. Likes to read, write and listen to music, hates noisy places, crowds and utter stupidity and ignorance.

Skills/Talents: He is quite intelligent, even though he doesn't reach genius levels of intelligence, and has a great memory. He also is a good singer. However, he fails at everything that requires physical effort, like running or fighting.

Bio: The son of an average father and an average mother, and the brother of an average little sister, he lost his father in a car accident when he was 8, and led an average (if secluded and almost friendless) life until the age of 15, when he became the lead singer of the heavy metal band *Black Wind* almost by accident (he was singing at a karaoke with one of his few friends and his older brother, a bassist). Three years of local success later, the band broke up, and even now almost no one knows he used to be their singer, since his crippling shyness led him to perform wearing a black mask, and with his eyes closed. Now he's just an above-average student.
