Yo bro, nice to see a new face on the forum. TV Tropes is more or less always Down To Fate! A lot of us RP-ers also talk on Skype, feel free to PM me your name if you feel like hanging out to talk about Fate there too.
I may have a huge backlog of Servants sorta saved up, and I wanted to ask if I could use Quetzalcoatl. See, at the end of his story, he renounced his divinity, essentially making him a fallen god, not unlike, say, The Monkey King.
If not, I can do other guys too. God damn, it's been awhile since I've been in a good Fate RP! Shenanigans all up ins! Let's see if we can top stealing Fenrir's Command Seals!
I'm interested! Can we use canon Servants or OCs only?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialNice to meet you as well Taco!
I'm not all that big on Skype all that more, since I've noticed in the past that I tend to immediately lose track of time while I'm on it, but I'll have to see.
I don't have any qualms against Quetzalcoatl, and chances are he'll be under the Ruler class probably.
As for the dude with the flamboyant shirtless man above me, Canon Servants are allowed, but I'd honestly prefer Original Characters. More 'originality' (bad pun I know), and I'm sure it'll be more fun. But whatever rocks your boat mate.
Expressing Interest! I wonder if I can The Little Prince up in this thing.
My interest is tentative, but I have a question.
These Servants are those who were hailed as a hero despite their wishes, sacrificed for a greater purpose, were betrayed or had betrayed someone in some manner or form, or were killed wrongly. For example: Ariadne, Medea, and Polyphemus (Cyclops) would qualify as an Avenger Servant. All those summoned into this class have the Class Skill “Vindication” that boosts defenses and resistances due to the amount of damage done to them (think of Spartacus), while also granting them temporary boosted stats the closer they are to death depending on their Vindication's rank.
Bolding the relevant bits, would that make Jeanne d'Arc applicable for an Avenger?
>Avenger Jeanne
CALLING IT RIGHT FUCKING NOW
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI would actually disagree on the class of Ruler. Quetzalcoatl's self-loathing makes me think he'd be better suited to Avenger—he willingly gave up that divinity as penance for being tricked by his evil brother, Tetzcanlipoca (No, the names will never be easier to pronounce). Since there are a million and a half different versions of the Quetzalcoatl myth, should I lay down one specific one or you we good with a wikipedia search and a certain level of trust?
WHAT YOU CAN'T CALL IT I CALLED IT
TOO LATE, SUCKAH!
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialLittle Prince would probably be a Caster if he's a fairy tale character, I'm honestly not too sure. Will have to see about that one.
Fair maiden with the cute hat, yes, that would mean that Jeanne is suitable for the Avenger class. I do believe that there was an Avenger Jeanne in the other website I linked on the top somewhere if you need inspiration.
Don't worry man, I trust ya. Go nuts with the hard pronouncing name peoples.
You don't know the fucking half of it, bro.
- Class: Avenger
- Master:
- True Name: Quetzalcoatl
- Gender: M
- Height/ Weight: Tall/chubby
- Alignment: NG
- Appearance: Quetzalcoatl◊ is positively glowing when in his full getup, and "merely" surges with boundless vitality when in disguise.
- Personality: Quetzalcoatl is an intense and driven man, but he is not openly mad. Rather, he prefers to simply intently press an issue in conversation, bringing up and derailing into issues he wishes to harass someone over constantly. He has issues around drugs and alcohol, and grapples with temptation even after they landed him in this mess in the first place. His wish is to be cleansed of his sins and be returned to his people to lead them in a resurrection of Aztec culture in the modern day. Not that he's even comfortable talking about it, or why he's in the Grail War to begin with.
- Stats: Parentheses represent the absolute highest point he can reach under the effects of Vindication
- Strength: D (B)
- Endurance: B (B+)
- Agility: C (C)
- Magical Energy: C
- Luck: E-
- Noble Phantasm (Rank): C
- Class Skills:
- Vindication (A): Grants stat boosts scaling with injuries, up to a cap when at the brink of death.
- Personal Skills:
- Double Summon—Berserker (C): The horrible fury Quetzalcoatl is grappling with has seized him and corrupted the summon, also granting him C-Rank Mad Enhancement. Can only be activated and disabled by the direct command of the Master, though not necessarily by Command Seal. However, activating this skill will seal away Divinity, Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, Animal Dialogue, and Appraisal until he performs deeds of charity and goodwill so as to nullify any wrong caused while berserk two-fold. Mad Enhancement may be activated while in the form of the feathered serpent, but as soon as it is dismissed Quetzalcoatl will revert to human form and lose access to the Noble Phantasm until he performs deeds of charity and life-giving that are of a magnitude sufficient to reverse the loss of life caused while in his form two-fold.
- Divinity (E): Quetzalcoatl is only present in this Grail War due to having renounced his divine powers after getting intoxicated by his brother, Tezcatlipoca, and sleeping with his sister Quetzalpetlatl. He has returned to his people as he promised, but is a God in name only.
- Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli (B): Represents status as "Lord of the Star of the Dawn." Grants Eye of the Mind (False) as long as Quetzalcoatl is outdoors and the sun is rising, but has not fully cleared the horizon.
- Animal Dialogue (E): Upon being summoned to the Grail War, dozens of endangered Quetzals will begin appearing in and around town. They are all friends of Quetzalcoatl, and he may speak to them to gather information.
- Appraisal (B): Quetzalcoatl was a God of Merchants and Crafts. While he has no direct power over this domain anymore, he is capable of expert appraisal and price evaluation—you will never get a bad deal around him.
- Noble Phantasms:
- Feathered Serpent - True Form of the God (A): This Noble Phantasm represents Quetzalcoatl's true form, not as a Man, but as a Feathered Serpent. Upon activating this power, Quetzalcoatl can transform into a serpentine monster covered in green feathers and capable of speedy flight through the sky, armed with a crocodile's crushing jaws.

Non-canon descriptions for Avenger and Ruler, I see.
Damn, I needed a new Fate/RP.
.....I still want to play as Karna.
Damn it, KSPAM, that RP never got off the ground.
Master of the Cliffhanger! Fire Emblem Elibe LP!Taco, I gotta say I do like this Servant. Perfect example of an Avenger Servant, but I would suggest one thing however.
While I normally would not do this, I think that this is a special case for a Servant such as this guy, and I think he would also need the skill Double Summon as well mainly because of the way you have built him. If you can figure out how to incorporate that into him, I'd say he's accepted because to me he seems balanced with the weakness of Avenger and the Strengths of Beast Servants.
Actually, I think he'd probably just be a Beast Servant... You know what, I'll leave it up to you on how you want to go about doing it since either way it'll work fine.

He was originally a Berserker. Double Summoning into Berserker, combining Mad Enhancement with Repentant.
Works for me man.
…I think I just applied for Bāsākā. Now I just need a moe Master and I’ll be all set.
- Class: Berserker
- Master: Pending
- True Name: Koschei the Deathless
- Gender: Male
- Height/ Weight: Tall/Skeletal
- Alignment: Mad Evil
- Appearance: Koschei appears as an old man with pallid skin and pointy ears. His hair is long and white although he is mostly bald. He has a mustache and a beard and white eyebrows. His head is the only “alive”-looking part of him, as his body is constructed from black armor-like material, and he has long pointy skeletal hands. His middle is hollow with a shining red orb implanted into his chest cavity. He wears a long black cape.
- Outfits: When he’s not in his Obviously Evil getup, he drapes burial shroud around himself.
- Personality: A quiet, brooding man. While he have engaged in diabolical plots in the past, it seems he is particularly incompatible with the city he is summoned in, and now simply went through the motion of “acting out” as the villain until being defeated by a hero. He lived too long, and, basically, outlived his own humanity and reason. One may call him "dead inside": he is emotionally numbed and usually doesn't feel anything. Even if extraordinary events may awaken some feelings inside of Koschei, he would have hard time discerning their meaning, since he forgot their meaning. For example, he can't easily remember differences between amity and animousity. Another example is the fact, that while he may have some attachment to beautiful women and riches, he doesn't actually know why he longs for them, or what he should do with them. Anyway, he cherishes any kind of emotion, because even acting out of pain and hatred is better than be in his usual dead-like state. Because he is already insane, he doesn't suffer from the madness induced by Class Skill of Berserker.
- A secret is that, he is actually one of the best Berserker a novice Magus might partner with, due to his general lacks of agenda.
- Stats:
- STR: B (A)
- AGI: C (B)
- CON: B (A)
- MGI: D (C)
- LCK: E- (E)
- Noble Phantasm: A+
- Class Abilities:
- Mad Enhancement (B): All Parameters are increased. Sanity should have been lost, but it doesn't seems like this Servant had it to begin with.
- Skills:
- Rejuvenescence (Water) (A): By consuming large amounts of water, it is possible to completely lift the burden of support from Master. It's also possible to heal even grievous injuries and dispel curses. In the tale of Marya Morevna, weakened Koschei is capable to return his tremendous power by consuming three buckets of water.
- Walking Corpse (A): Simulating the effects of both Mental Pollution and Battle Continuation. Capable of withstanding practically any injury without flinching, and negate mental interference quite easily. One may say, it's because he is essentially "dead inside". In essence, he receives the property of “Dead” and all the accompanying weakness and strength. For example, “Holy”-attribute attack receives a Rank-up to damage when used against him.
- Divinity (C): This Servant have some divinity as God of Death. It may give him some protection against Heroic Spirits with Death-related Divinity of D-rank and lower. Koschei share many similiarities with Slavic God of Death and Underworld.
- Sorcery (X): Signifying his complete mastery of mysteries recounted in the Slavic mythology. While traces of them are present, the actual use of Magecraft is sealed due to Mental Distortion.
- Noble Phantasms:
- Kladenets Karachun - Dark Sword of Fade (C+) - Anti-unit.
- Demonic sword of decay. Originally, it was a holy blade from Kladenets family, however now it is corrupted and has an unpleasant aura, which instill sense of fear and uneasiness in those who see it. Even in inactivated state, the blade emits dark energy, harmful for any kind of living being. Plants around Koschei will wither, small animals and insects may die, and normal human would feel weakened and sick. Pain and damage from the wounds inflicted by Karachun, are at least twice as strong as they should have been.
- Upon activation, Karachun begins to drain ambient prana from the surrounding area. While the speed of the drain is impractical to use in an offensive manner against Masters and Servants -not unlike a certain snake-monster's bloodfort- it can proves useful in disrupting bounded fields and effects deliberating Koschei's mobility.
- It should be noted that just holding Karachun is incredible painful, and Koschei is able to wield it only due to effects of Walking Corpse. Also, Karachun is late euphemism for Chernobog, Slavic God of Death and Underworld, who seems to be somewhat connected with Koschei.
- Smert' Koscheeva - End of Deathless (A) - Anti-unit.
- A needle inside egg, which is hidden magical bird (resembling duck), contained within an artificial beast (resembling hare), which in turn rests inside metal chest. The chest is incredible resilient and it is impossible to destroy him with normal means. If it would be broken, the hare would immediately jump out of it and try to escape. If the hare is killed, the duck would be released and will try to fly away. These are means of safeguard for the egg and the needle.
- As long as needle is intact, Koschei himself is an existence "free of death". It's unknown how this was achieved, but the concept of "death" contained within Koschei was expunged in a form of a needle. Thus, Koschei literally became death-less. It is practically impossible to kill him. Even if he is beheaded, both head and body still would be "alive", and it might be possible to re-attach it. Incurable wounds might be an issue, but Koschei may adapt to them, by restructuring body... or, simply ignoring the wound.
- There's strong spiritual connection between Kochei and his death, so theoretically a skilled Magus may be able to find where the latter is hidden. That's why it is necessary to keep the chest near the water (preferably in the sea), because it makes it harder to find. Also, it might be possible to overwhelm "deathless existence" by superior offensive power, capable of not simply "killing", but rather "destroying" Koschei.
- …And to be honest, limitations by the Holy Grail applies. He will still fade away when he runs out of the prana needed to sustain himself. At full Prana, he can survive being “killed” up to 5 times. Incidentally, some conceptual attacks like a certain Red Lance would be rendered utterly harmless.
- Kladenets Karachun - Dark Sword of Fade (C+) - Anti-unit.
Credit to thy creator.

Tentative interest, though I'm not sure exactly which category (Ruler or Avenger) would suit the Servant I've been thinking of. I really want to do something with Hannibal Barca, and I think Avenger might suit him more. But I could be totally off on that. Any advice would be really welcome.
Avatar from: http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/5953.html N: 5 F, 0/40 SI RPed a Genderflipped!Rider!Hannibal, here. You're welcome to lift what you want from that profile. That said, my main source was Polybius' History.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundHannibal would probably be Avenger, or what the kind fella above me said, a Rider, is what I'm thinking.
To clarify, Rulers are strictly gods than anything else. There may be rare cases in some actual humans being Rulers however.
As for Berserker, there are a few things that needs to be changed.
First, I'd lower his Strength, Agility, Endurance, and Mana to C, D, C, and C respectively without Mad Enhancement, and with mad enhancement to B, C, B, and B. The main reasons I'm being harsh on his stats is because of his Noble Phantasms, which I feel are strong.
I'd take away the "When this Noble Phantasm is activated, this dark energy is reinforced immensly and forms spherical field around Koschei. Anything inside field would be attacked by surges of destructive energy. Normal human would die and turn into ash in a fraction of a second, and it may be fatal even for Heroic Spirits" paragraph entirely, as I feel that's adding too much. Being able to deal double the damage it would normally deal is perfectly fine, but also granting a destructive aura around him is pushing it quite a bit.
Lastly, I'm hesitant on his immortality Noble Phantasm... since that tabooed word is honestly never good in any RP, however, to me it works a lot like a lich's phylactery which is a concept that I like personally. But to make things fair, I'ma have to think about this one still, and possibly leave it up to the player-base on this one.
Hannibal as Avenger would be the Hannibal from the end of the Second Punic War, getting absolutely fucked over and his dreams smashed because of Carthage's incompetence, but Rider would be Hannibal in his prime, tearing a bloody swath through Italy.
If I could recommend an alternative to the chestrabbiteggneedle, maybe he actually has to manually make the Phylactery upon summoning to be able to use it?
Well, I don't really think it being a Phylactery is the issue for me. The issue is the fact that it's a kind of immortality and that he has a false God-Hand.
It's one of the reasons why I nerfed his stats, since having a Berserker with somewhat similar attributes to Hercules in the RP is just asking for trouble. The nerfs to his stats allow him to actually be dealt with from other Servants and grants a fair fight, and even if he's killed easily he can come back and a fair fight can commence. But that's where some problems come in, he can't be permanently killed unless he's killed multiple times in a row like Heracles or if his Phylactery which is extremely hidden and capable of moving on its own is destroyed.
Though, this is just what I'm understanding from the character sheet itself. I'll need to hear from P Blades himself to confirm if I'm right on what he intends on this character, or if I'm completely wrong.

Oh~
My interest is definitely piqued, though I can't say I have any concrete idea for a Master/Servant at a moment. Beasts do look tempting however...
grahI'm fine with the NP nerf and somewhat fine with the stats nerf, pending the mean powerlevels from other Servants. I'd like him to be somewhat straightforwardly powerful, somewhere around Heracles-tier as relative to other Servants.
What I intended to do with this Servant is to completely disregard whatever tactical aspect of the war itself and moves on to Maximum Rampage. Pretty much a player-controlled Mid-boss.
Considers the clause "Undead; therefore receives increased damage from "Holy"-type attacks.", the fact that Ruler-class in this game is a thing, and "skilled Magus may locate the chest."
Incidentally, the Phylactery can only moves if the chest containing it have been destroyed. It is pretty trivial for a Master to catch either the hare or the duck.
Or just use enough force to destroy the chest, rabbit, egg, and needle all in one go. Expect a Master from me in a few hours.
Yo, yo. This is my first post on the site, and fortunately or unfortunately (?) it's rather huge. The name is Xenagos and it's nice to meet you all and I hope you all are interested in this RP of mine that I'm borrowing the concept and idea of from a friend from this website. I know the GM who ran that RP in real life, and they are pretty chill with me doing this in case anyone is wondering. Anyway, that is my little introduction, so let's get on with the show. Also, if formatting and what not is a bit weird, I apologize in advance since that formatting guide page of yours is honestly extremely confusing.
Fate/Lusus de Clades
The Holy Ceremony; a term known by many mages as an ancient ritual carried out by sages during the dawn of time in an attempt to defy the being called 'Gaia', or in other words the 'world', and to cheat the fabrics of destiny and subsequently force god themselves into doing their bidding. During the early stages of life known as the Dawn of Man, mystics weaved powers which they would soon call True Magic, and these mystics had intended to bring forth a mighty wish granting artifact which would make anyone’s dream true by bringing utilizing these True Magics. Then... in an instant, just as they were drawn together they were wedged apart. Man became overcome with the sin of greed, and had decided that only one was worthy of the miracle the holy artifact possessed... and thus blood was spilled.
Not with simple toys or trinkets either… but with the greatest of all earthly powers that was allowed; “Champions”. This second ritual, which would later be dubbed as the “Calling Grounds Ritual”, led to the creation of the greatest of all familiars that were tethered directly from the roots of Akasha itself. These familiars were the embodiment of the heroes of fairy tales and history, and were even creatures and monstrosities... while some were gods themselves.
These mighty familiars, over the course of time, were coined the name ‘Servants’ in order to explain their existence as a tool for their magi 'Masters'.
With this the Holy Grail was born, and with its birth erupted the hundreds among hundreds of crusades to capture the lands that held the location of the holy object; the Holy Grail. Wit these wars came Legends that became altered by scholars which became the stories we now listen to today, and which further add to the collection of heroes within the realm of Akasha.
However, when faced with impossible odds, man will always find a way to go beyond their limits in order to achieve their goals. The impossible was getting through all the other Servants and Masters to the Holy Grail and the goal was to create something that could get to the Holy Grail. This goal soon became known as the ‘Lance of Longinus’. A weapon crafted and forged by the the strongest magus at the time, and given to a mighty Servant whose name was erased. The Servant's power with the Lance of Longinus was soon shown to be the mightiest of all others when he struck down and killed the son of god; the one known as the Strongest Servant.
Even with this power, it was no match for what the cornered magi would do next. They united with one another under one banner in order to defeat the Servant who was summoned by the creator of the Lance of Longinus. This event would forever be known as the 'First Holy Grail War'. Even under the single banner, backs were stabbed, and friendly blood was spilled... all in order to see who could obtain the Lance of Longinus for themselves. But, one Servant and Master destroyed the Lance of Longinus with a mighty blow, and slain the Servant and Master who wielded them. With the great weapon gone, the alliance was broken, and the wars for the Holy Grail continued through small intervals.
As the years went by and unbeknownst to the mages... the Holy Grail became sentient and developed a mind of its own. In fear of someone creating a weapon capable of destroying it or a weapon capable of even the world, it had decided for the Holy Grail War to begin again.
It created messengers and sent it to mages all across the globe, seeking those who were willing to face the dangers that the Holy Grail brings in order to have their deepest desires brought into reality. As these messengers went across the globe, they carried with them another message, that something that has never happened before in the history of the Holy Grail's creation has happened.
A Servant- no, a label such as that could not describe the entity that was summoned by no one in the kind city of Kenerem, who has declared themselves as the Overseer for the Holy Grail War.
This Overseer has declared to all those who are new to the scene that the Holy Grail is indeed real, and that it is finally time for someone to win the rights to have their desires granted.
Who will win, and have their wishes brought into light? Who will fail, and turn into ash as someone else's wish comes into fruition?
Will it, or will it not be you?
Welcome to a very different Fate/Stay Night RP
As you may have already noticed, this RP has more than just a few different twists and turns to it compared to the Nasuverse that I'm sure that many of us are used to. Truth be told, like I said in my small intro, I'm actually borrowing this concept from a friend of mine in real life. Anyway, I did some snooping on some previous Fate R Ps on this site, and I saw that there are quite a few similar ones based on the principles of “no limits to the amount of Servants/Masters”. Unlike those Rps, where it seemed at times there were complications thanks to the Nasuverse and that the canon stories brings into the R Ps, I’ve brought it upon myself to eliminate those aspects so that there will be a lot less problems and needless arguing.
Long story short, the Nasuverse is to be for the most part IGNORED in this setting, but there will be similar attributes.
Well enough introductions and onto the rules:
Now, onto a couple of twists to this RP that I'm sure you are all dying to read about.
First of all there have been three classes that have been added to the roster of Servant Classes that we’re probably used to. These classes are the infamous Avenger, Beast, and Ruler.
With thus, there are Ten classes to choose from when creating a Servant:
Saber, the Servant of the Sword
Lancer, the Servant of the Lance
Archer, the Servant of the Bow
Rider, the Servant of Mounts
Caster, the Servant of Magic
Assassin, the Servant of the Shadows
Berserker, the Servant of Madness
Avenger, the Servant of Vengeance
Ruler, the Servant of Worship
Beast, the Servant of Creatures
There are also no limits to the amount of Servants that can be summoned per class, nor is anything canon in this setting. If you want King Arthur as male or female, then go for it.
I think that is mostly it for now? If I missed anything then feel free to shoot me a question.
Well, here are the sheets for those who are interested (Pretty much copy and pasted if you haven't noticed).
Masters
Servants
And I think that's mostly it. Again, if any questions and what not, feel free to shoot me them, and I hope we can all get along pretty well.
