Still not liking this suggestion as it's assuming everyone knows how the Dramatic Unmask is part of how Scooby Doo works and how it failed here. Not enough to say no, just saying it's a bit presumptuous to assume knowledge.
Also it has been more than a month since that was suggested. I dislike the idea of leaving that "open" until it gets enough votes.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.to 8.(2). Better than current.
Well, the caption should help with that. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, leaving it open adds opportunities for new suggestions and opposition to appear. If it starts stalling/no clear consensus or goes inactive, the mods will lock the thread.
I did a quick tally, there's four votes for either of them, 8.1 has one vote, and 8.2 has three. There's one in opposition and one with concerns but not vetoing. If this had a crowner attached it'd look like this: 8.1: 4 votes. 8.2: 6 votes.
Let's just crowner this and see what happens.
Looks promising.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Voted. Out of the bunch 8.2 is what I'm leaning too although I can't say I favored any of them for reasons already stated.
Pre-weekend bump for votes.
This is ready to call. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Is everyone alright with my caption suggestion in 9 or does anyone have a different idea?

I know Willbur suggested a caption, but here's mine: "What? I could have sworn that was a tacky pirate zombie costume!"

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Hmmmm...that's not bad either.
that sounds pretty good.
I like them both. Leaning slightly towards Willbyr's.
Crowner?
For captions? Sure!
Bump for votes.
Eh, I think we can call this one. The caption's added and the tag's adjusted to note; locking up.
Crown Description:

Which one? There's a bit of a difference between Fred's expressions in the second panels.
