Well, a character list would be nice. Mind if I just edit it into this post once signups are done/stabilized?
Supporting a char list. There's quite a whole bunch of people.
Indeed there is. A character list would do wonders.
It's been fun.So, can we control, say, one scene Npcs?
Good to be backI'll make the list once the RP is about to be launched.
And unless I say otherwise for one purpose or another, people should be able to move around and create their own NP Cs.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Character list is now linked in both discussion and signups thread. I'd like people interested in participating in the first plot with normal human characters to speak up over here. Seeing as how I think we have a bit too few to properly start the plot at first, I may wait on that one until more people appear for it.
I may start the RP this night without the first plot being set in motion.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I kind of introduced it into the setting without asking daltar, but Catspaw, the bar Lihtu... tends, is something more or less akin to Mac's from the Dresden Files - a place for supernaturals and so on to come by and rub shoulders, not necessarily out in the open, but in a bit more relaxed setting. (If it's incompatible with the setting, it can just be a normal bar).
Anyway, if people want to do barlike things, Lihtu's available.

It's been fun.@goodisgoos
Want to have Weird and Moore be,friends or at least acquaintances?
Good to be backI'm interested in participating in the museum plot as an almost normal human.
Hmmm problem is how much he knows of the supernatural so far. I want those going in to be on a mostly clean slate regarding such things.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.-looks at character list-
PFFT. Nice.
Jan's gonna be in the museum plot unless I just feel it's not worth it to try but i'd like a better idea of the setup. Are we (meaning those of us participating) all conveniently there for various reasons or is there a single reason we all came there, even if we haven't interacted before the start of the RP(ex. the japanese exhibit or some other one there could be a new addition that's caused enough buzz in Volwick for some more traffic to be in the area)?

P Blade: You mentioned him hiring some actual diviners >.> And he so far died due to an actual kitsune.
Last time around, I had a lot of students of the same class on a trip to the museum. The group kind of wandered away from the main one into the Japanese exhibit where the masquerade is broken in a bit of a dramatic fashion. Something similar should happen this time. It's a bit of random chance that brings the group that will face what lies in the Japanese section to that place at the most inopportune of times. After that happens, your characters during the event and afterwards will get guidance on the supernatural world, what to look out for and even means to start to dabble into it.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.That's. Um. I kinda forget. You saw nothing!
He could be trying to come off as a normal human to the others.
Good to be backHe could be trying, but even then it becomes an exercise in pretending to be surprised in front of the classmates who see it, not of being surprised himself. If we had a few more normals to make the "mole", for lack of a better term, stand out, it'd fit better, I think.
It's been fun.Hm, so we're all just conveniently there this time around? I think I can work with that.
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillSo, um... is the museum thingy at night?
Because Reiko's a delinquent but breaking into a museum isn't her thing. I mean, if she wanted to visit she'd probably try and just skip paying for tickets, but if it's at night she wouldn't break in.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."It's during the day, from all i've heard of it here. No way Jan'd be in it if it wasn't.
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillVlad is a classy vampire. Powers or no he's sure as hell going to be at the museum.
Come to think of it, unless the musuem admission fee is waived, he can't be there anyway. My hobo zombie can't afford to spend any amount of money carelessly.
Museum plot? Have we started playing already?
Anyway I'm thinking that Tuck will be answering Daniel's ad although he'll want cash money not flesh or blood.
Trump delenda estConsidering the museum people are supposed to be otherwise-ordinary humans, I don't see how it would take place outside of normal hours, unless you win an after-hours tour in a sweepstakes or something. Also Taco, I could be wrong, but I thought from the context in the signup that only normal dudes are on that museum plot, while all the magical/special characters are like, chillin'. Though you can still buy nachos.
All right, busywork is over.
@Troyhand Hawk: Sure, I don't mind Moore knowing Weird. It'll be fun.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.
Here is the discussion thread for the Urban Fantasy RP "Another Shade of the World"
I'll be looking forward to people discussing the possible plots and general interaction within the game.
