Hello, dear reader. This is
Infinite Paragon, bringing infinite amounts of...
paragon to the
TV Tropes Universe. And no, not the RP under that name. I discovered
TV Tropes about... halfway into my sophomore year at Klein Oak High School, after stumbling upon a friend of mine browsing the site.
I was amply warned about this site, but i stuck around anyway. This site takes up way too much of my time, but i could care less. Hitting the F5 button compulsively never felt so invigorating to me.
I tended to lurk the Videogames section of the forums in my warming up to the site, being a massive gamer. Then, as previously alluded to, i stumbled into the Roleplaying section one morning. My first RP was the
New Dragon Age RP, which got me hooked on Roleplaying. I then went on to become the GM of
A Game Of Chance alongside appointed
co-GMs and friends
Motree and
Crystal Glacia. From there, i joined several other Roleplays, such as
Mass Effect RP 2,
Dragon Age: Shadow of the Qun, and many more. Recently, i have decided to expand my horizons to the
Character Development Threads in the Writers Block section of the forums, although the results of my first endeavor there have yet to be seen.
Update: It actually was fairly successful, and while i did good i still need to improve upon my writing abilities.
As previously stated, i am a huge gamer, and a fan of the
Elder Scrolls,
Dragon Age,
Assassin's Creed and
Mass Effect series above all. As such, i cannot wait for Skyrim, DA 3, Revelations and ME 3 to release. I do enjoy an excursion to the movie theater, although i am not a die hard fan of any particular series save
the Harry Potter series, and even then i'm more of a sidelines kind of fan than
Fan Dumb. I enjoy reading books, and particular series that i enjoy are the
Harry Potter series, the
Mortal Instruments, and the
Infernal Devices. I don't have any specific genre of music that i prefer, but the two bands/groups/artists that i listen to would be
Eminem and
Poets of the Fall.
Tropes that apply to me are:
- Adjusting Your Glasses: By the bridge, with my middle finger, because although nobody takes note of it, i find it a cool way to do it.
- Apologizes Alot: I apologize for the smallest, most inconsequential thing quite often.
- Hates Being Touched: The real life example, actually. I'd be a pretty good example of Sensory Defensiveness.
- Incredibly Lame Pun: I have the incredible ability to twist peoples words with a little thought into the lamest puns you have ever heard, although they are the So Unfunny It's Funny kind, which i consider a success, because they make me laugh to, which never hurts.
- No Indoor Voice: I am constantly asked to turn the volume level down... and not on the TV either.
- Pacifist: I have a strong dislike of being forced to use violent means or resolve situations with violence, mainly because i dislike pain and end up being in more pain than they do.
- The Cynic: I believe that the world is a bad place, that Humans Are Morons and Humans Are Bastards, and that the only thing close to 'good' in this world is Grey and Grey Morality, although Grey and Black Morality is much more common.
- Verbal Tic: "Nyah", or a varying form of it.
- Your Days Are Numbered: Story of my life, and yours too, dear reader. Its always at the forefront of my mind, and it will be for quite a long time.
