I think I've heard of this before... Is this the RPG/dating-sim where the characters you form relationships with somehow "give birth" to characters that join you in battles? Or something?
So basically Fire Emblem Awakening? 
Seriously though, I don't really think its as offensive concept as other harem genre works I've heard of even if player's goal is to basically get magically kids :p

In this game, yes, the girls can fight with you (only one at a time, though). In the original, they couldn't.

There is indeed a 3DS demo, however it is completely inferior to the Vita demo. The Vita demo gives you the full prologue, the 3DS is just a tutorial. Which is strange since both versions have the same amount of content in the full game. I've played the 3DS demo and while I found the game interesting, it'd probably only be worth a buy when it's on sale.

Yeah, I've already played through the demo on Vita. I already had it pre-ordered, and this justified it completely. I ran into an enemy that single-handedly gave enough experience to max out most of my star children's levels right before hitting the end of the demo, so I'm gonna be OP when I get the full game.
