Episode 16 is out.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Speaking of:
Roughly 50/50 d'aww and hilarious, that one.
What's precedent ever done for us?It's a nice break for what's coming next week. If episodes 6 and 15 are anything to go by this will awesome. About this weeks episode, the Ship Tease is cute and strong with this series.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Episode 16, also known as how to build your Gunpla.
Sei's dream is weird. That again, who never dream something bizarre?
I'm pretty sure that the polycap used on the head doesn't break WAY too easily.
This episode is about Reiji and Aila building Gunpla due the fact they meet some guy who is Takeshi in disguise.
Like father, like son.
So, instead of police to arrest Gunpla Mafia, we had Gunpla Police?
You know, I realized that C never actually spoke.
I laughed at the scene where Takeshi came back to Iori's model store, only to discover that the store was closed because Rinko went to see Sei and Reiji.
So, I think the biggest bombshell this week is what Aila's flashback implied about her backstory...
Yep, kind of adds up too. Pretty much a less angrier version of Sakura Kyouko from Madoka Magica — orphaned, and has a thing for food because she likely spent a part of her life starving.
Also it looks like Mr. Iori won't be having any sex tonight. :P

(First minute) what. Feels like a symptom of oxygen deprivation. :p
I guess this should be the last we see of rainer, poor guy. More camoes, reporter from 00 and turn A.
And the golden limo of the chairman, he is NOT subtle. Also nils.
A glimpse of aila's past and that could explain why she finds no joy in gunpla...until this episode. And she continues into the other direction of being expressionless (except at the dispersal part, that just makes me feel sad for her).
And one last thing, it was pointed out the girl DID get a haro after all.

How on earth do you end up starving in Finland?
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntIn the criminal justice system, Plamo based offences are considered especially heinous. The dedicated detectives that investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Gundam Models Unit, These are their stories...
Also, a gold Limo. Must be Anti-Beam coating.

Officially launching the Reiji/Aila ship now.
That ship left port a long time ago. They have a long journey ahead of them in order to reach the Sei and China ship that's a long way out. But at least they are further out than the Richardo and Kirara ship.
You win this thread today Thorn.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Well, consider the Reiji/Aila ship to now be considered a fleet. I'm the missile destroyer.
Ricardo/Kirara already are their own missile destroyer.

Thorn, you forgot the
x3
But the China and Sei ship is forced while Aila and Reiji isn't. It would be better to say that the former needs to catch up to the latter or just stop existing entirely.

I wouldn't mess with that ship either, I've got a flagged missile destroyer moving to rendezvous with them as well.
I think it's more that the China/Sei ship has little conflict to it. They're a couple of nice kids who like each other. The end. They get some fun moments, like Sei's drink-spillage in this episode, but there's not much there to sustain a meaty plot arc, so the show doesn't give them much of one.
Must say, though, really hoping that Aila and Reiji's relationship doesn't take the usual Newtype-romance route...
What's precedent ever done for us?But I like my Sei and China ship. I actually like both of them. The interactions are cute and organic.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Right, Sei/China's missile destroyer is just insurance. The Reiji/Aila destroyer is expected to see combat, even if it's doomed combat against the creators.
That Command(o?) Gundam looks cool for an SD Gundam. Also, this episode makes me want to watch Beginners G once GBF is done.
I think the Chairman's gold-plated limo could be a reference to Dorothy Catalonia's massive Utena-esque gold limo from Wing.

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelOr that villain guy from 00 s1. Or maybe it was just to show us he's rich. (That bastard. )
Also, it's only 3 episode, so you can strike that off the waiting list quickly.
No surprise really, but wing fenice is sold out in a shop I checked out recently. And chances are shops everywhere are stocking up on sd commando.
Beginning Gundam is probably going to be sold out soon as well.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2This series does make me want to try Gunpla building. I need to find a hobby/model shop, though.
Come to think of it, I need to find one to get stuff for building that VF-1J model I got a while ago.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelThis series made me fall off the wagon and buy a Fenice kit. And then next thing I knew I'd gotten a Jesta, a Banshee, and an SD Kshatriya. Why, Build Fighters? What did I ever do to you?
i. hear. a. sound.
^^^^Well, yeah, baseball is fairly popular across parts of Asia, I think. Japan is big on it, at least. Also, Yuuki is actually representing the organizing company, or something.
^^The Argentinian guys remind me a bit of the Frost Brothers, which is probably intentional.
^Well, it's up to us to help Gundam regain a foothold here, so...
Also, I think Graham's transformation into Mr. Bushido was more because he had a superior who was heavily into the Bushido stuff. I think there's a scene at the end of 00 where we see one of the A-LAWS guys having committed seppuku, so I think Graham got it from someone else. It's kinda silly, yeah, but it helped the guy get his life back on track to a degree after getting his ass kicked in Season 1.
