That said, potential replacement here

First, second, and fourth panel would make a good page image that isn't quite as reliant on knowing the Thing and the Hulk. Though I do think they're okay; those still seem like catchphrases even if I didn't know the characters.

I prefer the suggested image in #4 to the current, actually. The current seems like Battle Cry and/or Calling Your Attacks
The comic in 4 is copyrighted. We won't be able to use the entire thing. Perhaps just panels 1 & 4.

Panels 1 + 4 of the PBF comic would be sufficient, but it really takes the entire comic to get the point across. I prefer the current.
I think in this case the Hulk/Thing one is best, but we generally wait for more than one option in the discussion before making any change. For reference:

I think Panels 1, 2, and 4 would be sufficient. Heck, I think it's better to cut out 3 since that... distracts.
Honestly, I think Panel 3's what makes it. He evidently hates his job (and by extension the catch phrase) so much that it's driving him to suicide, and yet it's all anyone will ever remember of him.
Prefer current, though.

Ok, the image for "Catchphrase" was changed by a user named "Tropesof TV" from an image of the hulk and the thing fighting, using both of their catchphrases at the same time, to a picture from the show chowder without any discussion. (from what i've seen.)
