Well, they don't control all of mankind...the Hiryu Islands stand as a symbol of hope and defiance of the Outsider's control, with young pilots using their protoypeGears to defend their home from the Outsiders and their enforcers, the Botakuri.

There are some character stipulations I have: No Miracles, and no Combining mecha, because that's a nightmare to keep track of as a GM.
