This show is confusingly amazing.
It also provides evidence for my theory that any anime character that says "darling" in English is insane.
Though not as insane as Gotou. He is apparently SUPER nuts.

Gotou can hardly qualify as super nuts. He only does one thing that is weird and it doesn't even hurt anyone other than himself. It's unhealthy but low on the crazy scale.
The reveal of Gotou's past was quite... shocking. For one I didn't expect it to be like this at all.
And hell that kid in the end. I swore I've seen somewhere and you guys here manage to pointed his origin. Man, I can't believe Samurai Flamenco using Checkov's Gun from episode as early as that.
Isn't my relationship status is a kind of department of redundancy department?Well, let's admit it, ever since his appearance back in episode 1, we've kinda been expecting him to appear again sometime later on. Just...not quite like this....
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueEpisode 20: Oh good, some Foe Yay , how could we have gone with so little of it up to this point?
So this evil nemesis is just a really good, really terrible stalker. He's also a ghost. And a complete douche.
Oh no, they had another bro fight. But the dangers are too perilous to fight now!!
This is really scary. Nobody had better die.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.And so, after all the trials and tribulations, Samurai Flamenco has one final challenge before achieving the peace he so desires: Himself.
The attack on the Flamengers was quite petty. Except for Black. That wasn't petty...
The friendship has been fractured. Darn painful imaginations!

I'm wondering how many more weird plot twists we have left.
At least six.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Has anyone been keeping track of how many layers of "this is what's really going on" there has been so far?
I half expect the last episode to be Flamenco vs Hatte Saburo.

Episode 21: FUCK FUCK DON'T END IT LIKE THIS FUCK!!
Other thoughts...so, Haiji exists...that's good, maybe.
Love is a secret weapon...that's adorable.
So it seems like what they're getting at is that it is going to be a BL end... if Goto isn't dead. Or Masayoshi. I really, really hope nobody dies.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 21:
- It was delayed, but MMM was attacked, too. Darn.
- So Haiji does exist? Well, lots of people are seeing him nownote
- Love: What this episode's all about, yo. So stop fighting already, Ms.Red Axe, Sakura.
- Goto's in a great pinch. And then, cliffhanger. Masa, your form of love better not be sacrifice!

I suspected he was real. "Flamenco has gone crazy" wasn't a weird enough scenario for this show. Now the big mystery is HOW he's real. The police seem pretty certain that Haiji is dead.
Other big mysteries that we may or may not ever get answers to: What happened to Goto's girlfriend? What happened to the guy who killed Flamenco's parents?

Sam Flam Finale.
Okay, Haiji, I still don't see why Goto killing you would be more traumatic than you killing Goto. I mean Batman is Batman because thugs killed his parents, not the other way around.
In this episode, our hero attempts to rape a mentally unstable middle-school boy. That's...
And then we discover Goto is impossibly flexible and can undo handcuffs behind his back with his feet, or something.
Masayoshi, definitely doesn't grasp the meaning of love. It isn't about having sex with or marrying whoever you think needs it most....or is it?
Oh dang, he called Goto-san a baka repeatedly, that means it really is love! It is the one true indicator of anime relationship statuses!
So wait, was Goto's girlfriend really in Nicaragua, or is he still texting himself? I think the latter.
This episode was ridiculous. This series was ridiculous. I've had such a good time watching it. Masayoshi is cutest sex offender. Goto is cutest looney. And Mari is cutest violent bitch. Everyone else is great too.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Somehow I knew Hazama was going to strip completely instead of putting the suit on. I didn't expect him to borderline sexually assault the kid. And propose to Goto, buck-naked.
That ending was amazing.
The Japanese police need to get better at psychological screening, though. Apparently people who have had psychotic breakdowns can get hired.
Finale:
- Here, we see the story of Goto and his e-mailing obsession. Then his girlfriend died. Forever.
- No, Darkness Flamenco of Darkest Darkness is a thing that will never happen.
- Good job diffusing the situation, Masa. Did you have to totally strip, though?
- Of course he's serious, Goto. After all, he said something to you while naked waaay back in the first episode.
- Why is your armor in the villain's corner, Mr. Ex-Prime Minister? Why, the answer is unacceptable to you, isn't it?
- What~? Too boring. Akira wants his jerk-mode Ishihara back, thank you very much.
- Yep, everyone's doing fine, and everything's back to normal. And Masa's back to busting small-time crime. And Goto has a new girlfriend. She's in Nicaragua. Um...she is new, right? Oh...
Awesome series. Confusing series. Awesome series. Now GOODBYE!

I've just started the first episode. Since when did Kyon become a cop? And he found a new Haruhi!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.>Haruhi
My friend, you have no idea what you just said...
My only real advice is to bear it once you get to Flamengers. After you get past that arc it's great. Not as great as the first two episodes, but great. Also, SIT DOWN.
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueTHEY ARE SHARING AN UMBRELLA! DON'T THEY KNOW THE MEANING OF THAT?!
Being a superhero posing against the skylight... feels good.
He rose a mob, but not in the sense he meant...
He has a Batgirl. Who takes him over. This is like Kick Ass done right.
SHE LEFT HER HANGING WAITING FOR THE KISS!
Some quality animation this episode.
The Jimmy Hart Version of The Pink Panther Theme unexpectedly shows up!
The description Gramps gives of Samurai Flamenco sounds like the lyrics of The Touch.
"I don't mind if she's using me." That's what I said. *sob*
That skill with the staplers... was legit Charles Atlas Superpower, you know?
The Ho Yay is istrong with this show.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Relevant:
No, they don't know the meaning yet...and they won't for quite some time.
I'm glad you're enjoying it. Just be prepared for the nine or ten or possibly eleven episodes of 100% crazy "wut" material in the middle, before the most "wut" episode of all that satisfactorily explains everything.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.WHAT?!
I will not be angry.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. That was the Guillotine Gorilla.
And after that...
FLAMENGERS?!
SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!?!
THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. That was about my reaction to Guillotine Gorilla, too. It all makes sense eventually. Kind of.
So, because I had a serious case of "couldn't be arsed", I didn't watch episode 18 and 19 until just now. Man, do I feel stupid. These two episodes changed absolutely everything. Things finally make sense!
