Perhaps it will work better as a film than a game in my opinion.
Will there still be input lag?
Watch SymphogearInteresting. I heard the game itself was more or less a mediocre title, so seeing that a movie is still being made based on it is sort of surprising. Hopefully the fact that it's CGI will allievate the initial "video game movies suck" backlash...
Nope.
You can thank Tekken Blood Vengeance for that. Awesome fights, terrible plot and characters.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Boy did I forget about that one. I was more of a Sly Cooper fan.
Anyway, I'm surprised I didn't see Kai in the trailer. She's probably the game's Breakout Character. You see more fanart of her than Nariko.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).That's probably why. Nariko was the central character, they wouldn't want another who could outshine her.
Oy vey. When will the universe stop feeding Ninja Theory's ego?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.They also just released the Enslaved Director's Cut or whatever. When Dm C fell out of focus, they immediately pulled out two more projects, which are just extensions of previous things they did.
Not Three Laws compliant.Enslaved Premium Edition, actually.
... Eh.
I thought I had more to add to the conversation than that, but apparently I don't.
Bleye knows Sabers.Wut?
Why, of all possible games to pick up for a film adaptation, do they pick the poor-to-mediocre God Of War knock-off? Aren't films supposed to be an incredibly risky and expensive investment? You'd think they'd pick a title with a little more "star power", so to speak.
This is a direct-to-dvd feature basically. It sounds like it isn't getting any sort of theatrical release. And the visual quality doesn't look much better than the original game.

Not Three Laws compliant.Makes you wonder what the point is.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.... So is this anything like that in game cutscene Shenmue movie having been given a theatrical release?
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Well I found out a few things about this project. 1) Ninja Theory apparently isn't involved. and 2) Sony is trying to start up a line of video-game based movies. The other one looks way better already. Ratchet and Clank if you're interested.
Not Three Laws compliant.I... legitimately don't know how to react to both those statements.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I wait and watch with amusement.
@2) Really? I'd love to hear a source on that one: the idea already has me intrigued.

The Ratchet and Clank trailer is amazing, that it is.
Sony: "No iconic characters in All-Stars, huh? What's it take, a movie? Well then, we'll show you."
the color today@Ninety: The point is simple. We even used to have a trope for it:
I predict fanservice.

I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own.If that's true, they're starting from the bottom, because she's the least iconic character on the roster. She had one game, and it wasn't even that good (even Fat Princess had a PSP port and was the most popular PSN game up until Journey).
Fanservice should go without saying.

Here's a link to said trailer.
This looks pretty cool. Never played Heavenly Sword, but I'd like to see this.
