The improved version is OK if a bit dark.
Also, I don't think that adding a picture to a so-far un-pic'ed image is what "Changed w/o discussion" is supposed to be used for. We don't have to second-guess image additions.

I'm the one who made the first version. (It was in the Needs Wiki Magic Love section under Pages Needing Images, so I didn't think a huge discussion was necessary before adding an image. After all, it was asking for one.)
I will agree, however, that the second version proposed with the clearer lampshade looks much better then mine, and would whole heartedly support the updated version offered by Rethkir in post 3.

Now that I've looked at the two images in 3 on an actual monitor and not my antique laptop screen, 3.1 appears to have some slight fuzziness, I suspect caused by the brightening. Because of that, I'll go all in for 3.2.

I was just looking at this this morning, wondering if there'd been any new developments. I've nothing new to add, but I'd reiterate the fact that, as the person who made and uploaded the original version, I'd whole heartedly support Rethkir's updated version. It is executed much better then mine, but I still get to have the joy of knowing my original concept is at work.
