Well it's confirmed, Genji is the next hero alongside Hanamura being the new map announced.

Which is weird because Hanamura doesn't have Payloads.

They chose Hanamura so Genji wouldn't be repulsed by a part of the map, of course.

Come to think of it, I just want the day to finally come where I go to the HOTS Wiki and the Assassins section doesn't have two dozen more rows of hero icons than the other classes.

Looks like Genji's Dragonblade here is pre-nerf. It's still 8 seconds instead of 6 seconds.

I want Anduin as a multiclass hero with a choice between shadow/holy/discipline(Priest is my main in Wow and Hs). And more Hearthstone memes! Jaina riding a card fills me with glee!

One can be an assassin and the other a warrior.

Why would you think Grom is an assassin? Because he used to be a Blademaster in WC 3?

The worse thing he did is create Dreadlord Jaina.

Well, Gromm is the overly aggresive one and has always been characterized as always being the one to start a fight (WC 3 comes to mind)

So i guess an initiator assassin is his most likely role. Remember he is the OG Leeroy Jenkins.

I'm not quite sure. One can be a tank while doing a Leeroy Jenkins tactics. Like I said, Grom was only Blademaster because they ran out of unique Orc hero class and the Strength-based one befitting a Warrior went to Tauren Chieftain. So even if he'll be an assassin, I'd think he'd be a Bruiser akin of Thrall. Although, if you are thinking of an initiator, the best trait for that is to be able to take hits, instead of dropping like a fly so an initiator is best as tanky.

Plus if you want a Blademaster rep, there's already Samuro.

Bruiser sounds fine for Gromm. I don't think he is going to be like in WC 3 because 1) We already have Samuro cover the Blademaster 2) Gromm was never a Blademaster himself.

Rage is something that's characteristic of him. I guess they can create a similar mechanic for him like Sonya has but i wonder how would they differentiate them,

And the big question is, if Garrosh is also coming (Which is likely considering the 4chan leak mentioned him as a possible hero in development alongside Gromm), would he and Gromm wield Gorehowl?

Some day, in the distant future, I dream of an Archon as a two-player hero, with Tassadar getting a new ult.

Why?

I mean... other then coming off as just random

an Archon isn't Two distinct minds in one body its a complete merging of two beings into a single unstoppable force

Tassadar being able to pull it off by himself is to show how ****ing good he really is. Granted I'd have preferred Tassadar had ascended beyond the mortal coil instead of being the Token Good Xelnaga but I'll take HOTS version for what I can get.

Grom being a Rage warrior makes sense... I guess I could see him working like Gnar...

Let Grom's rage build to Max and it overtakes him and he becomes his Fel Orc Self, with different abilities and Chaos damage... so it becomes a game of trying to wait for the right moment to let Grom go berserk and burn rage off till then.

or use Rage like Friea did in Dawn Gate, its a resource that enhances the skills in combos

Max rage gives bonuses to normal attacks and speed but you could spend it to activate a secondary ability on your skills

IE one move was you bleed an opponent... using rage let you cash out all the bleed damage in an instant and stun them with a fast second cast

Whether or not they have a single mind, they're still made up of two intelligences merging - much like the players making up the archon character's control. And ideally the character would be made up of a light and dark templar to give an excuse to have a range of abilities. I just think that if Blizzard ever wants to experiment more with two-player characters, an archon would be a natural an obvious direction to go.

They also seem to have varying degrees of integration. He's an unusual case, but Ulrezaj is made up of distinct personalities, for instance.

Besides, however good he is, I find it very slightly annoying to see Tassadar turning into an archon on his own and then turning back.

Interesting, a 4th tint for kerrigan has been datamined.

Well, wish me luck, attacking chests. Surprised my level is so high, I'm only level 5 with most characters and most of my time was on Li Li and Morales. I guess they were smart and used XP earned rather than just raw levels, I thought I was fucked by focusing on them.

And yay, gems instead of just paying for shit. Hope you're happy crybabies, because now you get to spend $10 on fucking jewels and spend nine of that on one character and Blizzard gets to keep the remaining buck until you spend more.

Also, any idea how these voice lines work? Were they actually stripped from the existing characters to fill these stupid loot boxes?

There was a teaser a couple day ago about some claw marks and a growl. Many thought it was Deathwing.

Turns out we were Jebaited and people are...mad i guess?

I'm personally happy, she is one of my most played tanks in OW and i might try giving her a go.

Oh yeah I saw that. I didn't think it was Deathwing though (though I do want him in).
