When Tomm added a post on the blog about Gkids distributing the film, there were two screenshots in it. One of them was totally new to me, and it was really something! I'm looking forward to this film more and more.
I remember posting on Who Would Win? (Western Animation edition) Aisling vs. Marceline, and look what I found just now!

Crazy, huh?
Sorry for double-posting.
So, does anyone have any ideas on what the first official trailer (as in not the conceptual trailer from 2009) will be like?
For some reason, a side of me is hoping the trailer would be structured like the trailer for Super 8.
Maybe because a lot of stuff they did in the Super 8 trailer, like the music they used in the end, really suits Song of the Sea IMO.
Thoughts?

Sorry for triple-posting but:
What is going on with this picture?!

Hmmm, couldn't tell you the answer to that one. Yet another interesting picture.
Very cute!
I'm beginning to think that G Kids might have their best year ever lined up. This film, Patema Inverted, plus The Tale of Princess Kaguya? I don't know if there are any more acquisitions on their horizon, but there was one year when they submitted no less than four features for awards consideration, so they may not be done yet!
Hey, anybody think any of the main characters will try to invoke the Screw Destiny trope somewhere in the movie, like in the third act or something?
EDIT: Oh look! New posts!

"Some clips and a trailer"? Oh geez, the suspense...it's unbearable.

Sorry for double posting, but:
Wow! Turns out there's a page for this movie on Wikipedia!

Nice.

Sorry for triple posting, but:
New update!
http://songoftheseamovie.blogspot.com/2014/04/foley.html?m=0
A couple new images is great news, but the hint of posters, books, and promotional tie-ins is even cooler!
Hey, these statues◊ look a lot like the ones from The Secret of Kells…
Anyone think that this is a sign that Song of the Sea might be set in the same universe as TSOK?

You mean the statues that were outside the entrance to Crom's lair?
I haven't thought about whether the two films might take place in the same universe. Hmmm. . .
Yeah, those statues.

Man, what is it with me and double posting? Anyway…
New post!

Oh look! It's those three mystical guys again! What are they up to?
And another shot that reminds me of Kells. Hmmmmm…
Finally, new updates!
Last day? Does that mean…they're almost done?
Ah, I knew you would post about that news before I could; I just saw it! I hope they use that poster in the US. I love it.
Has it occurred to you that we're probably the only people in this whole website talking about this movie? I don't know about you, but I find it to be really off-putting.
Also, I'm kinda worried about getting in trouble for posting more than once on this thread. Granted, I'm not actually getting notified about it, but still. It could happen at any point...
But yeah, the poster's all right. Plus, have you noticed the Bearded Man in the center?

"Anyone think that this is a sign that Song of the Sea might be set in the same universe as TSOK?"
I don't think this has been done before, but I really like the idea of a director making a series of animated fantasy films telling different tales and exploring the lives of characters we've grown to love over the course of their journey, each told through-out time.
I've always been a big lover of fantasy, it's such a beautiful genre with endless creative possibilities. Needless to say I'm really looking forward to this film.

Does this mean that you are in favor of my assumption?
Because if you are, then that's awesome.
But hang on, if my theory does prove to be correct, would that make SOTS a Stealth Sequel to TSOK?
You may be the only ones posting, but I'm watching this thread because I'm interested in the movie.
I didn't write any of that.Whoa, really?
Huh, I guess I didn't really consider the odds of people watching this thread, did I?
Hmm. Sorry about that. I thought people who were interested in the movie would have something to say in this thread about the tiny morsels of info that we've been seeing over the months.
You know, like more thoughts, more WM Gs and whatnot.
You mind if I ask why you haven't said anything regarding the movie until now?
Well, you're very welcome. I hardly go on the forums to be quite honest.
I don't know, do sundaes need hot fudge?
Yes.
