A Christmas episode already? Are they airing them out of order? (The ads for them certainly don't seem to match.)
Anyway, my one concern for this episode was that they would make Santa a true villain all along. Thankfully he wasn't. But man, his final fate was truly shocking, even more than Impresario's Clones last week.
Btw, very nice touch with the scenes showing the relationship between Hotwire and her brother. Things like these remind you that The Awesomes is about more than just cheap laughs.
I was expecting Prock's new girlfriend to be evil, but- could she *actually* just be an honest, love interest? This episode certainly seems to imply that.
When did Malacchio Jr. need to get his voice healed? What did he do to it again?
I know it's a "vulgar, adult cartoon", but do they need to be racist a lot of the time?

the Auditor (Malocchio, Jr.) overstrained his vocal chords while battling the Awesomes and Metalfella at the end of his first appearance. Which he promptly blamed on the Awesomes, because once you turn evil, it's Never My Fault.
Actually the show rarely is that vulgar. If it were it wouldn't get bleeped. However it does make use of racist humor which is worse in my opinion; even then it isn't that frequent either.
Nothing saying she can't be both.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The Awesomes meet their European counterparts, and any respect I had for Impresario (and the person writing that subplot) bottoms out.
Metalfella's secret is out, and the final member of the PRICKS arrives.
Ok, we get it, Gadget Gal is a racist old lady. Can we try to explore more of her personality than that, please?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Oh boy. I can't wait to see them be racist at the BRITISH this time!
I like the comedy, but the cliched plots are starting to annoy me.
It's not that they're cliche. There is a more epic storyline running underneath the episodic events, but the writers are obviously trying every single sitcom-based formula in the book. "Hey let's try mocking reality shows! Now let's go with therapy sessions to make every jerk act nice! Now a Christmas episode in the middle of September!" etc.
True, true. It just annoys me, but it could be worse.
So. Now it appears Jaclyn is a villain! As much as I have to check off "cartoon Amy Poehler going insane" on my bucket list, I am finding the overarching plot much more entertaining than the group dynamic! The back-story of the Awesomes, and Malacchio's family, are much more interesting than the current Awesomes team. That, and I am kind of getting annoyed at how active Prock's love life is, even though I know it's a cartoon.
.... and I gotta say: being racist is NOT A CHARACTER TRAIT, writers!

I was disappointed that Prock's mentor turned out to be a hypocrite. I mean it was easy to guess, but why does he have no one who believes in him (except his girlfriends, and even then, do they truly believe in him or just say they do cuz they like him?)
I wish we'd seen the heroes actually come up with a way to defeat Whiskey Dick, though I realize he was just a red Herring.
Now, I realize many people will be annoyed by the fact that the Euro-Awesomes were a bunch of Captain Ethnics, but I wasn't, after all this is a parody show and the American heroes are absurd enough (and stereotyped) as it is.
So Jaclyn was indeed fated to be a villain after all. Too bad, I almost liked her. Almost. Glad Hotwire is back, though, although her return and acceptance was a little too sudden in my opinion.
I liked Perfect Man until the end when he was back to intruding on Prock and Hotwire. Where's Crotch Punch when you needed him? Bah.
I hate how a loser lead lands several ladies through the course of his show even though there should be absolutely no attractive qualities about him whatsoever other than his confidence to get a lady.
He's intelligent, dedicated, loyal, relatively mature, he's not bad looking despite the jokes.
Yes, such a loathsome creature that Prock.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! There's never been anything wrong with Prock; that everyone thinks he's a loser is just the joke he's (sadly) built around. Even his suddenly becoming a "ladies man" was a set-up for Jaclyn turning evil. I wish the show would let the characters grow a little more, but it won't.
They've grown somewhat. And the humor is pretty good
I just started watching the show, and as of Episode 4 these are my observations.
The plot can come off as cliche at times, but it isn't that big of a problem.
Dr. Maloccio is easily the best character.
I really hope Livewire isn't the mole. That would be way to obvious.
This show has a lot of potential, but its having trouble realizing it.

Everything is Possible. But some things are more Probable than others. JEBAGEDDON 2016I, too, though this show was going to deconstruct superhero clichés as well, but it's more like Galaxy Quest in that it makes fun of the genre's silliness, but ultimately embraces them. So, don't expect too many surprises, however it Is funny and well-done.
First part of the season finale, and the evil counterparts of the Awesomes make their move.
Looks like Lady Hunchback will be vital to the team's victory.

Well, Impresario's character arc concerns him becoming more independent. He spent the Europe episode trying to get a girlfriend. So yes, I predicted the hunchback woman would come back.

I for one was surprised, I thought she was a one-off gag. Still I found her funny (though you notice that she never turned into her hunchbacked form. )
As for the rest of the episode, I think the Prick's plan involves either time travel as mentioned above OR rescuing Malocchio from Mr. Awesome, hopefully the later especially if it leads to one (or more) father-son reunions.
Well that ending was......surprising. Not sure what to expect for season 3.
The ending was... OK. It wrapped up all the subplots. But I can't help feel it could have been much better. Plus a couple of things annoyed me. Accountant's plan was to - kill everyone on Earth? For the sake of the plants?? When was that aspect of his character established? And his minions were OK with this? I know they are "Forever Evil" due to the serum, but even Malocchio seemed to have more common sense than that!
Also, they allowed an invasion of super-aliens to happen just so Perfect Man could go back to his old status quo (except he still seems a little crazy.) I wouldn't mind so much if he didn't kill a bunch of sentient aliens in the process. And they destroyed France just for a gag!? Now THAT'S racist!
Oh well, at least things look good for next season with Mr. Awesome having turned evil (and Malocchio good?) Oh that should be fun!
Christmas Episode! And it's Muscleman's turn for a reveal.
