Episode 4:
- Mikakage has wonderful eyes.
- Akatsuki needs her mojo back. And pronto! Kinda getting annoyed seeing her feel sorry for herself...
- So, Lenessia can only be herself around Crusty...? Man, that really sucks. Hope she can find a balance...
- Heh, Kyouko sure got a lot of focus. Making her a ripe sacrifice for jolly 'ol Death Nick.
Akatsuki should find the PKer and stab him lots to vent off the angst.
It's not a PKer, since it's obviously an NPC ("Person of the Land"). It just happens to be a high level NPC with a grudge. High level NPCs are of course designed to be killed by parties, so naturally they're much stronger individually, and when you throw in the same kind of independence that Lennessia has it was just a matter of time really. An NPC who refuses to stand inside a dungeon and get killed over and over again in controlled situations has fairly routinely been a cause of mass murders in MMOs, although normally it's caused by enterprising players luring them out rather than free will.
Clarste is partly right, in that it's a Lander — heck we even see the guy in episode 1, cleaning the Royal Guard armor. He's off-base however on the other stuff.
That's…
Coming in and confirming/denying speculation like that isn't really any different from just posting unmarked spoilers.

That's not even a spoiler. Given how this is ALSO the LN thread, I am fully capable of spoiling.
You want me to? Because a spoiler is like this (LN details ho!): The Lander himself isn't anything special, but the combination of the Royal Guard Armor (modifies level to 110, can teleport anywhere in Akiba) and the weapon effect (Raid weapon with a flavor text indicating that it was used by a specific Raid Boss, giving said Lander the Raid Boss' overpowered abilities) made the murderer unstoppable by any normal means available to the residents of the city.
Speaking of the LN, the web version of Dragonshowl is experiencing a bit of Orwellian Retcon, with Mamare now phasing out earlier descriptions to fit the "final" version that will become book 9:
- Leonardo now losing much of the TMNT references, his inspiration now being a frog ninja, and his favorite food now being sushi rather than pizza. Nothing yet if the Cowabunga battlecry will be retained.
- Kanami now has the extra jiggle shown in the anime. Also she gains a "ishishishishi" laugh, ala Luffy from One Piece.
- Kanami's also gained the Chef subclass.
Didn't the most recent TMNT series feature the turtles saving a sushi chef who repays them by making pizza sushi whenever they stop by?
Not familiar with the Nickelodeon iteration of the franchise, sadly. :D
Still, I can see why this had to be done, if the show could be licensed (if ever) in the west.
Here's another spoiler: they will all fail to defeat him and Akihabara will be a ghost town. Then Krusty will go insane and destroy the empty city. Shiroe also gets his Berserk Button switched on and reshapes the very fabric of the universe by touching his glasses.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over....I wasn't even speculating. I was just talking about how MMOs work in general.
What was meant is that the other stuff no longer applies with the uh, situation, even though it's how they typically work on MM Os, as you'll eventually see. This isn't like bringing Varian to Orgrimmar anymore...
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over. One outdoor raid boss in Warcraft became stronger with every player killed. Intended to shut off zerg rushes, it made him invincible when kited to a capital with plenty of low level players. But he was hardly the sort to wander in dark alleyways and pick out targets.
I'm puzzled by Akatsuki's bemoaning of uselessness. I had the impression early on that she was on par with Shiroe and Nao. Is she just being made to feel so by circumstances?
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale. She has self-image issues.
Check out my fanfiction!Monsters, never mind wandering Raid Bosses, can't enter Akiba as long as a certain plot-centric thing is in place. The first season had to obliquely reference that in the earlier episodes (mob of monsters outside the bridge, safe haven on the city's side).
That alone disqualified the guy from being anything but a Lander.
She's the same level (max level), but she was a casual player instead of a hardcore raider so she doesn't have actual player-experience (as opposed to character experience) or gear. I think the show first brought it up when she didn't have a griffon. She was one of Shiroe's casual acquaintances before the show started, but not one of his circle of most trusted friends, so she feels left out.

Dropped.
Wouldn't being a frog ninja inspired character be just as troublesome, if not more so?
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.New episode up.
Don't fuck with Souji's harem.
Episode 5. In which they face the strongest battle thus far.
I think abandoning the place sounds rather extreme and inefficient for a single serial killer. I mean, there's nothing that says he can't move as well.
Don't touch his guild members. Just don't. Unless you're invincible.
She just realised she wasn't alone? Despite actually talking with her?
If there's one skill she's got plenty of points in, it's motivation. For others, not herself. Intentional or not, she's good at it.
I wonder what just knowing those words would mean for her ability to learn from them.
And in the next episode, we see something from the OP.
I thought you said you dropped it.

Check out my fanfiction! Its a joke where you say DROPPED over stupid things that won't really make you drop it.
It's a joke when you say someone's supposed to do something for real that they obviously by all evidence only joked about doing it.
Check out my fanfiction!Smileys with their tongues sticking out were invented for precisely this purpose.
Yeah, I should've used one to make myself clear.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 5:
- Death Nick's a cheater! A cheater! Having possession of Royal Guard armor means he's invincible within the walls. It's a Hopeless Boss Fight. Reminds me of Poseidon.
- Lenessia got a much needed pep-talk from a ghost. A physical one, that is.
- Looks like Shiroe bit off more than he could chew.
- Next time, a look at the afterlife of this world...

If you plopped a noble from medieval or Victorian times into say...a gaming convention or san francisco, they'd probably be freaked the fuck out too.
But yeah, its like what her maid said, she can only really be true to herself around Crusty, so I imagine she's feeling inadequate when its quite clear she can easily be her own person in the right company.
