I find them much the same. Well, technically they cover more, mostly in terms of volume, but... Never been fond of shorts, especially with the fly open.

Perhaps because I couldn't get a good look -no, not that way- at her my brain just start messing my perception.

If I recall correctly, Shiroe's raid group are going to get ambushed by another raid boss during the fight which lead to wipe isn't it?

To answer Knight of NASA's question about the banner I THINK (LN speculation so 'ware!) it's the insignia of that guild that Scrub Horizon encounters during book 8, who believe that if you get killed enough, you get to go home to the real world.

Just read through parts of volume 6.

Goddamn, that Akatsuki depression was...depressing. I cannot wait to see the Souji/Aka tag team battle in the anime. In my head, that battle against the armor was just epic.

Episode 2 sees the return of Demowhatsit, and the party is split up. Nice cozy atmosphere to some of these meetings. And they talk about the nature of gold in a economy where it is essentially a resource rather than currecny (generated from monster-slaying as an activity, given to merchants and it disappears).

Naotsugu's sex banter, with an eager man and even more eager girl joining in, made me cringe, though I did laugh at times (when it went from believable to cartoonish).

Episode 2. In which they gather a party and venture forth.

So they have groups specifically numbering six. Seems arbitrary.

Nice to see that even if they turned the Rount Table down, they're still friendly.

Maybe Aka would've been good for that information gathering, but I suppose they managed on their own.

Those two perverts sure get along well. Those aren't hotpants, though. Just regular shorts.

Days travel away, and she still manages to attack him. Good going, Aka!

She's your regular space case, all right. Haven't had too many of those in this series.

"You're cute, but you know it too well yourself, so I don't want to tell you that." I find that an entirely appropriate thing to say. And she should take it as a compliment, since he did agree she was cute, after all.

Nice to see he's loyal.

Okay, Tetra is awesome. The way she was talking about Demi-Demi is just great. Far more effective than Shiro's taunting. And his smirk is just the cherry on top. I did find the comment about his wife rather cute, though.

"I found her lying around." Entirely accurate.

And the wife picturesquely waves them off with a cloth.

On one hand, there's no problem in running ahead if you can handle the enemies. On the other, as they said, working on the team work would be preferable before actually needing it.

Tetra has found a mount of steel. And then she pulls a Cartoon Physics trick. Is she secretly a tricksy rabbit? And considering how she acts and all, I'm going to guess she's going to join Log Horizon.

You know, I'm kinda warming up to Mari's appearance. Different from before, but not bad. Also, she also forgets his name. Also.

Oh, nice to see her appear. Looks a bit derpy, though.

Only weapons are the ones she can buy. So no crafting? Or does that count as buying too?

There's a subclass for crafting tho, and Akatsuki sure doesn't have that.

Same as usual.... Wing it.

Doesn't exclude a friend having it, although outside the crafting guilds we've not really seen any major crafters, I think. Scribes aside. But it's more that I got the impression it was the only choice at all.

A party limit will inevitably be arbitrary, but it has to be there somewhere. In World of Warcraft, a party is up to five players, beyond that a raid can have forty. You don't get credit for normal quests while in a raid. The original intent was to prevent players from trivialising fights by simply bringing in more players or getting joint credit for quests being done over a large swathe of territory by different players. Though with changes since then, such as difficulty scaling with number of players, it is in some ways a relic of older design. But it's still a useful way of labelling instances and bosses by how many players you are expected to take. So it's a normal way for online games to work.

Yeah, I know how games work. The thing is that it's kind of strange for that kind of rule to persist in the world as it is now, considering all other changes.

Because, from logic, since Elder Tale is now no longer a game, don't party limits seem stupid in comparison? I mean, there -is- a lot of people in Akihabara if we're going by how many people are on-screen, adventurers or otherwise

Same as usual.... Wing it.

They have made it clear the world is a fusion of MMO and Reality.

[up][up][up] There are quite a few game mechanics left in. I mean...everyone has MMO style inventory for example. (I would LOVE that in everyday life).

In this episode nao has a new found respect for the sage. [lol]

So demikas is trying to ruin the raid? Bet his wife won't be happy when she finds out.

Episode 2:

  • Heh, William's quite the friendly fellow. I pegged him as an arrogant type last time I saw him. Shame about some of his guild members, though. Losing a lot can get to a person...
  • Sage Regal was quite funny today.
  • Akatsuki's Curse will follow you to the ends of the Earth, Nao. Never forget that.tongue
  • Tetra's awesome. She knows this. She's also super self-confident in herself. What she doesn't know is that she gets on Nao's nerves.tongue
  • Yep, Marie definitely looks different. But she's still Marie. Fun, silly, Nao-crushing...
  • Looks like Demiglass was quite busy last time I saw him. Thanks for the info dump on him, Tetra. Shiroe also enjoyed it.tongue
  • But it looks like he's gonna mess stuff up just for spite...
  • Hey, Lenessia. Howzit going?
  • Akatsuki passed a suspicious person. He's a Southener, isn't he...?
  • Cool Swords. Too bad Akatsuki can't afford them. Bargaining is also out of the question. I loved the lore of the Dew Sword.

There is actually someone in my class named Tetra.

Any chance Williams's name is a reference to MIT? I can't think of any other reason Massachusetts is choosen.
