Heck it could also work as an interesting setup for a military RP as well for those interested. After all several factions are pretty militaristic.

@Lily The Litten: There actually is already an active RP that is sort of in that vein, called Acting Supernatural. Well, in so much that it's about playing characters who are supernatural of some sort going to school, but the school itself is not actually that special.

It is a bit slow on the posting side, and you may have to wait a while before you could start posting if you do sign up.

Does anybody here have any experience with the OVA system and playing it over a forum? I'd like to learn it sometime but I'd like to learn as a player first. I'd prefer some sort of superhero game but I'm willing to be flexible with genre as long as it isn't a super-long,(basically as long as it isn't a irl months-long) quest.

Is anyone interested in a Roleplay Game based on the movie Cube? Certainly not as deadly and slasher-iffic, but having a group of strangers in a mysterious facility and who have to use their wits and talents to try to escape.

Would anybody be interested in an rp where your characters have to escape an empty laboratory after getting no-clipped from their universe (like in the backrooms)? I already have a few environment ideas like the Liminal Hallways (starting point), Overgrown Greenhouse, Flooded Sewers, and The Core for a start. I also have an idea for the lore which is basically scientists studying and experimenting on various creatures and objects that the Core grabbed from other universes until something went wrong and wiped out majority of the scientists (either their souls get transferred to other objects or they turn into something else). I'm posting this here because I'm looking for a gm because I'm not that good at being one.

Here's a simple roleplay idea: A paranormal investigator rp. Basically, a group of friends/co-workers start their own paranormal investigator team (they're only self-proclaimed investigators though, so it's not an official group) and upload their findings in the internet. The team should at least have one camera man and one person who can fight the paranormal. The settings and scenarios can vary. It can take place in a normal town that is haunted by ghosts or one that is somewhere close to an enchanted forest. You can even choose to make a scenario where the group encounters a haunted mansion that is riddled by monsters and the characters gradually get clues about the lore of the mansion and monsters. Either way, you can go crazy with this one.

How about doing the rpg using the Call of Cthulhu quick start rules ?

While I think that would be a great idea, there is already a rp signup for the rp you just referred to (Here is the name if you are looking for it: The Ghoul-Getters! (RP/Interest Check). You can find it in the Role Playing Signups Forums.). Despite that, if you do want to make some changes, you should ask the gm if you could open a discussion about it. I will mostly only watch the discussion online if I can. I could try to give my own thoughts into it, however, this account is still new and I don't have too much time to be able to type a post so I can't post that much.

Can someone GM a civilization building roleplay?

i've had two ideas for rp's that i think would be neat, but am lacking in the ability to gm for. if either of these interest you talented ass gm's, please let me know!

~a "league of extraordinary gentlemen" type universe but with movies & television of the 70s/80s/90s. if you've ever seen that fake "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1988" cover, smth akin to that.

~an isekai noir rp where characters from across fiction are placed in a grimey, crime-filled city ala gotham with no memory of their past lives and false memories of their lives in this city.
