You can put it there if you want, but I'm not sure if it really counts as a WMG theory as much as an interpretation of why characters reacted a certain way.
I put your theory on the episode's YMMV page, and credited you.
So when I was searching for the information for the Polish Role Association page of MLP I discovered that Sour Sweet's Polish voice actress Marta Markowich is also Polish voice of Downpour from The Good Dinosaur. Why I decided to post this bit here is not only because I think that Good Dinosaur (for all its flaws) is underrated Pixar movie, but also because today we got our first trailer for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, another animated production about dinosaurs. So thinking of it as a funny coincidence, I decided to post my little discovery here, hoping someone will answer to my post. Also, are there any other Polish fans of ponies beside me here?
Thank you for crediting me, and yes, I think that "Alternate Character Interpretation" fits that better than WMG.
No problem.
Who finds it funny how Pinkie Pie nearly caused a war at one point in Over a Barrel over a song?
They don't seem to have anything of the sort, no. It's just the Christmas and Halloween expies as far as I can tell, plus the Summer Sun Celebration, which could be any number of solstice summer celebrations.
Maybe they feel they can't get away with an Easter proxy since that is much more openly religious than Christmas?
Optimism is a duty.I understand your post, but I was asking do you think Equestria has its Easter equivalent.
Well, secular Easter would basically just be egg hunts, and horses don't eat eggs, so that would be out... At least, in the early show, before the ponies basically became humans in pony shape.
Optimism is a duty.I heard somewhere that horses eat eggs because they provide nutrients, so I think that couldn't be far off. Alternatively, replace normal eggs with chocolate eggs, given that most modern Easter egg hunts involve chocolate eggs than normal ones, given that kids like eating sweets.
And really, only egg hunts? You didn't thought of some proper Easter expy with proper backstory like Heartwarming's Eve or Nightmare Night? Not that I insult you, I'm just disappointed with your lack of creativity. Like I for example came up with backstory for both Human World and Equestrian Gaia Everfree's (yes, I will not stop talking about this subject) and even a story focusing not only on Equestrian!Gaia, but also pony versions of Gloriosa Daisy and Timber Spruce. I'm sorry if I sounded rude, but I'm just very creative person and I dislike this sort of "laic thinking".

IIRC, ponies were shown eating eggs even in season 1, or at least using them for baking. They've always been mostly human in pony shape, with perhaps just a few more horse-like nods in the early show.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayPost of the Week #3600
Also, can we please leave the blowing up for one bloody day? If I wanted butthurt, I'd go on Ponychan. Learn to love and tolerate, for crying out loud, since it's starting to look like some of you missed the point of this show entirely.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Playstoryyeller, that's what I said here. Instead of ponies being "humans in pony shape", them eating eggs could be a Furry Reminder as to how horses eat eggs because they provide nutrients for them.
Hey man, that's really a bit too rude. I'm not obligated to come up with ideas here. This is not a writer's room. You are not my boss.
Optimism is a duty.I know, that's why I apologized to you prematurely. As I said, I was just disappointed that you only thought of egg hunt.
That's not what I really meant anyway, I meant that that is the only secular bit about Easter I can think of. That and the Easter branch, I guess.
Optimism is a duty.Rabbits and baby chicks are also associated with Easter, along with spring in general. We do know that Ponyville has the Winter Wrap-Up tradition, so maybe they have a celebration of spring afterwards? As a reversal of "the Easter Bunny brings presents" human tradition, maybe they make and leave food for the rabbits and other animals that have come out of hibernation as part of that celebration. If they did, then Fluttershy would LOVE that part, and Angel might get very demanding if he expected to be waited on like a rabbit king.
Rainbow... that's very awesome idea! You should write it on the Equestrian Culture WMG page!
-looks up the fan art-
Ironically, Fluttershy makes for a much nicer rabbit than the actual rabbit on the show.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Wonder if the human world in Equestria Girls also celebrates Easter (and how Sunset reacted to finding out about the holiday if Equestria doesn't celebrate it)?
I just added it to the WMG page, and added an idea that giving offerings to rabbits could have started as a way to give them food in exchange for not ravaging the ponies' newly planted gardens and farms. (like they did in Applebuck Season)
They might, and we also don't know if they have any similar religions to the actual human world.

I think I'm in deer fever now. I posted Sing the Day from Bambi II, I imagined Tiana fursona being a deer, due to her voice actress performing previously mentioned song and being bummed that she didn't voiced a deer in the movie properly, I posted my theory about Equestrian!Gaia Everfree (finally), and theory that Tiana will turn into deer in upcoming Princess And The Frog TV series and theory that she is a deer in Zootopia world. Maybe it has to do with today (Holy Saturday), and considering that I associate Easter with spring, could explain my today's deer fever since I associate deers (and other Woodland Critters) with spring. So to continue my deer fever I'm gonna ask you guys a question: what do you think of Sirzi's Cervyderia? I personally think it's better way to introduce deers as a race in MLP, rather than what comics had showed us. But what do you think?

Also looking at this shot of The Ending of the End Part 2, why is Spike included in the final Rainbow blast here?
I saw one guy named Nightshroud 96 (who is a pretty obsessive Spike fanboy) trying to use it as evidence that Spike is an Element of Harmony, but do you all think it's actually true? How did you interpret Spike's prescence in that?
Hey, Rainbow. If you want, you can put your theory on the show's WMG page. If not, I can do it for you.
