Just watched the episode. It was pretty funny but it felt kind of like the moral was a handled a bit too bluntly, I guess? Still kinda funny with some alright gags and of course Dendy is always fun. The bit with the cat dude swimming in the pool of money was definitely a reference to Clancy Brown having voiced Mr. Krabs, he even slips into the same pseudo-Irish accent.

Well her character designer made some new drawing because he couldn't find the concept art.

since Dendy is a Kappa I wonder if they'll include cucumbers as being her favourite food,since Kappas really like them according to the mythology I've read

Strangely, she suggested the food kappa like is fish heads, not cucumbers.

I hate to sound like a SJW, but this show was made by a black man, and there are practically zero black folks in this show. WHY.

That...doesn't sound like an "SJW"? Unless I'm missing the memo where anybody who wants representation is apparently an "SJW", in which case a good portion of the people who post here are "SJW's".

They said black, and Enid is Ambiguously Brown. And they're specifically talking about the human characters.

@Yasmin: Does a cartoon made by a black man need to have a certain number of black characters so as to not be a problem? You act as if he purposely excluded black people from the human cast. Maybe he just wasn't thinking about "how can I represent me in as many ways possible" when he was creating the show.

And really, how much of the cast is white, anyway? K.O. certainly isn't (unless he and his mom are just constantly going to tanning salons between episodes). If the human cast was pitch white and K.O. was the White Male Lead, then yeah, I would see the lack of black characters as a problem, but as it stands now, I didn't even notice until you brought it up.

Half of the characters are robots and some of the rest aren't even human.

Well, I'm black & the lack of black characters in modern animation is..troubling. (At least it isn't old blackface protayals, though.,,)

I'm black and I couldn't care, so long as we're not portrayed as minstrel coons when we do show up.

Without looking at anything but the title, I'm guessing "Plazalympics" is going to be a Whole-Plot Reference to Laff-a-lympics.

Curious whether the Plaza workers are going to be competing against each other, Box More, or both.

As far as the pal card episodes goes, while it might have been a little too on the noise, I still like how how they handled the entire thing.

I should probably get around to bingeing this show.

Not sure if you'd call that an episode promo. Is it more of a character introduction thing? This episode's going to be something either way, I think.

Also I'm curious if "the Earth" is really Captain Planet's Pow Level...
