Data squad was remarkably faithful to the dialogue, perhaps more than it should (this in unforgivable * too many). And that's despite being the same writer as before (jeff nimoy), though people still hated the result anyway.
Not sure who is doing the adaptation for fusion.
The only real problem I have with the dub so far is DemiDevimon comparing everything to a video game.
It IS the Digital world after all. *Bum dum tiss*
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceNext episode is Neptunemon.
You look happy, I can change that if you want. That means I have two more weeks before I start watching since that's when I had to drop the sub.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireIs THAT seriously rthe title? Ugh. the dub already became lazy.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceHuh no it's not the title. I was just stating they will be fighting Neptunemon next episode.
Also I noticed an interesting dub name change this episode (Though it first showed up last episode) Bagramon is now just Bagra in the dub.

You look happy, I can change that if you want.At least it steers away from the annoyance of putting "Digi" in everything.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSooooo. The Third Episode of Digimon Fusion was supposed to air today. It didnt.Ben Diskin(Shoutmon's Voice Actor) had a lot to say about this: https://www.facebook.com/ernestojose.narvaezosorio/posts/625117074175816
I really like this guy.
You look happy, I can change that if you want.To be honest, I've never seen any ads for Fusion even before it premiered. I only saw them online on Youtube. Though that's probably because I hardly watch Nick anymore except for The Legend of Korra and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012).
If it moves to another network I won't have any way to catch it aside from finding dubbed episodes online... again.

Me or Ben Diskin? LOL
That doesn't make much sense. Sure, Nicktoons seems more Saban centric than the main channel, but that doesn't explain why new Power Rangers: Megaforce episodes still air on it's respected dates. I believe it's Executive Meddeling in the form of "Not enough toys/cards, man!" I think they want them to remarket Digimon or they'll pull the plug. But I really don't care for Vortexx with any of it's shows to be honest. It just seemed more commercialized than any name brand network. Hopefully Nick toons starts airing reruns along with Yu-gi-yo Zexal.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSaban made a 2 year deal with Nickelodeon. That's why its still airing.
You're okay. But I mean Ben. That link along with his audio reply to a review have done a lot to make me like the guy.

You look happy, I can change that if you want.Im okay!?
Im MEGA Flattered!
ABOUT FUCKIN' TIME! New ep of the show today! "A rival appears" Gee, I wonder what this is about. Christopher's voice kind of reminds me of some other character. I can't remember who. Glad Nick is still keeping this going!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceGOOD NEWS EVERYONE!(You're reading this in Farnsworth's voice, arn't you?)The show will air reruns on Nicktoons now. Which means, If you've haven't already seen it online, you can now catch up on all three episodes already aired. Thank god for the Saban/Nick partnership.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWell, better edit this. The whole damned series is moving to Nicktoons on Sunday. It's a sad/meh day to be a digifan.(Which I'm not really much of.)
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWell, at least the new episode was pretty entertaining, but what's with Meme being a creepy science babe who the team has to fight in a distant future ep? Is she some how The Mole in all this as well?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceLiked it as well.
You look happy, I can change that if you want.Glad someone else has Nicktoons so they can follow along.(Or, you know. The web.) I still ship Shout with Cutemon because babus.
Decided to watch the dub and just finished the first episode. Pretty enjoyable, if standard for a Digimon dub. I don't think anyone's badly voiced so far, and though Mikey's male friend is a bit annoying, I like how Mikey's presented so far. I just hope he doesn't become too much like Tai v.2 for me. The Mecha genre-style evolutions are pretty cool too, especially if the animation keeps up.

I was mostly putting this off because from what I've seennote , this series has a lot questionable content that'll be inevitably censored (I noticed that Lillithmon is censored, but that was expected and it didn't look like a shoddy and lazy job), especially since this is airing on a Nick channel. I figure that if I want to enjoy the dub (as I usually do), I'll need to watch it before I get to the sub, otherwise it'll just be difficult for me to get into.

In retrospect, after seeing a Cheezburger lol about it, the edit was ridiculous. At least try to make her top aline with her body. It just makes it look like it's a pocket for holding stuff and nothing in front. But still, it is procedure NOT to show clevage to underage boys who arn't mature enough to handle it, or girls who'll just become depressed for not having her type of "Milk jugs".

The dubs of Digimon have generally been more pun-filled than the original Japanese, yes. I don't know if Data Squad avoided it though, since I never saw that dub.
The dubs also have a tendency to add "Digi-" to a lot of things, rather than just using the word "Digital" (or not using "digi" at all in some cases).
