That's a given though since she was designed to be "the cute mascot of the Mighty Numbers". 
Cute characters usually have female/feminine voices.
If it makes you feel better or something, here's her original design.
I stand by my statement of being glad they didn't make her into a fembot and gave her the current design, avoiding the common use of having "female" bots look aesthetically pleasing to humans, while "male" bots look however the hell they want.note

Ugh. I think I like the remake one better now.
Also of note it's been said in the forums that what we see of No 2's "face" is actually a helmet, she has a more normal face under it.
Neat. 
Though you'd think they'd mention that in the update since it nearly dedicated to her.note
They make a very small reference to it:
KIMOKIMO: No. 2’s design was revealed at the very beginning of our Kickstarter campaign. I remember thinking “Is it really alright to open with a character whose face we cannot see?”

According to the bata which looks pretty tough. The Mighty Numbers do have names which are stated on their status screen before the battle with them.
No 5 for example appears to be "Mighty no. 5 Battalion".

Oh this is still going on? And there is an actual beta? What a good sign. Maybe this could buck the trend of kickstarter vapourware.
