This game has MANY more years to go before it becomes another Duke Nukem Forever.

Hell, it has quite a few years to go before it becomes another Mother 3. Or for that matter, another two years before it hits the amount of time EarthBound was in development.

I just realized that Mighty No. 4 has the same serial number as Guts Man (DLN-004).

Probably just coincidence. I mean, Fire Man and Pyrogen have different numbers, as do Ice Man and Cryosphere, and Elec Man and Dynatron (the other Mighties and DLN Robot Masters don't correlate cleanly... outside, of course, of DLN-001 and Mighty No. 9, who also don't match).

You know what?

I think every single person who supported this game via crowdfunding should demand their money back.

If they can't even get it on time after paying, just give them back what they paid. All of it. Every cent.

Then they should boycott Inafune. Not just him games, but him. Make clear that any game he's a part of in anyway is a game they won't buy, so that he can never even touch a game (or being in the same room as a game) ever again.

Teach him a damned lesson that he will carry with him for the rest of his life. Carve it into his very soul so that he never forgets the cost of his screw up.

I know this won't happen, and I don't even know why I'm so angry (I didn't put any money into this game, nor am I going to get it), but I wish it would, and it's how I feel.

And if it's how I feel, I imagine there are a lot of people who are far angrier, who actually did put money in.

Yeah. I know. Like I said, I don't even know why I'm so angry, since I'm no getting the game anyway.

I actually did put money in and I've been fairly content to wait.

Its funny to me how people who don't actually have a stake are angrier than I am.

We all know it's totally related.

While I perfectly understand why people are disappointed, they also have to keep in mind that making crowdfunded games is notoriously difficult and Inafune is likely used to having the backing of much larger companies. Granted, I don't know the whole story, but so long as it's still coming out (and there's been no reason to assume otherwise), there's really no cause for alarm.

Anyway, Mighty No 9 will exist when it exists. The question is, will Inafune be metaphorically lynched by insane rabid fans, or just permanently ostracized.

It's certainly going to be a Never Live It Down moment for all of the executives and programmers involved.
