"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'd say try to find a clean copy (which will help with the artifacting and blurriness) and split it to 2 rows of two frames each, (which will allow each panel to be wider, which will solve the problem of the type size) and it's good.
It's a poor quality image, not a poor image itself. It does a good job of illustrating the trope..
Yanking it without a replacement is a last resort.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Personally I don't think the text is needed to understand the image. You just need to see that there is text, as that shows they're talking with each other. While it can be interpreted as Ayaka just talking and Zazie just listening, I don't think Ayaka's body language agrees with that interpretation. She shows responses, which is the important part. Besides, it's not hard to read the text in the middle panel anyway.
Check out my fanfiction!I would stick with trying to find a better version of the current, pending someone finding something that actually shows someone doing their communication with just facial expressions.
Is it meant to be read from right to left? That might warrant a mirror/manual realignment of the image.
But that's a story for another time.Yes it is, and it should definitely be rearranged.
I'll see if I can fix this up. I would remove artifacts and use the first panel in that row (the one on the right), and omit the one with a lot of text that is currently on the left. Of course, the panels will be rearranged.
EDIT: This is what I came up with. I added the blah's since the text wasn't very readable and didn't help illustrate anyway.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Actually that picture suggests to me that the two characters are speaking different languages. One speaks English, and the other goes "Sha wa wa! Min min?" That strikes me as unrelated to this trope.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The sound effects are actually background noise...she and others are at an outdoors cafe, and that effect is in the air from the start of the chapter. I'd say the extraneous stuff can be removed from the panels and not hurt anything.
Honestly, I'm torn on this. The trope is "character communicates through body language and facial expressions" which isn't really happening in the pic, but just a static pic of someone may not work.

There was an YAFGC comic where a character is exasperated that somebody else can communicate without speaking, and then the rest of the comic is spent posturing silently in exaggerated body language. That may be a good pic here, but it's hard to find in YAFGC's huge archive...
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I think that might be a remnant of the Negima-craze that swept this site a while back. I really don't see it myself, it looks more like a person who talks so much the other can't get a word in edgewise. That, and the quality isn't so good.
Yes, the trope is about communication through body language and facial expression. The picture shows what looks like a two way phone conversation, but we don't know what one person is saying. They don't even have opportunity for body language or facial expression. It should be pulled.
I don't think the "through body language and facial expressions" part is strictly necessary for the trope. It's about someone communicating far more and in far more detail than what they're actually shown to do. It's not so much about how they do it, but about what they accomplish.

Oh look I mispeled somethink.Reminds me of Metal Gear Solid.
Check out my fanfiction!it's Samurai Shodown, Ukyo is a man of very, very few words in game.
Oh look I mispeled somethink. He's not saying anything to anyone, though. Verbally or not.
Check out my fanfiction!Or, at least, the pic doesn't make it clear that he's doing so.
Would a picture where the text lampshades how a telepathic character never speaks (along with him using telepathy) illustrate the trope, or would that not count?
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMTelepathy is cheating.
Check out my fanfiction! How about this?
I don't think it's stronger.
Check out my fanfiction! It looks better than the current. The rabbit did communicate without words.
Small text + heavy artifacting - color = very ugly image.
