Interest Check--The Eighth Sector

I'm not even going to try to hide it. I'm SURE that there are some bad explanations in the story. If you don't understand anything, please call it out.

Two went up....into the unknown. Two came down seen as gods.

Two reigned over the world for decades...but all good things come to an end.

What made them what they were? Nobody knows. All that is known is that they ventured into the Eighth Sector.

The year 2189, technologically advanced(Obviously) civilizations have taken over and it is rare to find an area that is "disconnected". Peace reigns over the world, though as normal, some tension still exists. Nothing really "special" has been found: No aliens, magic, no colonization on other planets. Well one day, a wealthy, bored man decided to take what he had, and build. 4 months later he had a rocket. A rocket that could carry only two, would carry only two. And did. He brought himself and one other close friend to explore the unknown. They went into what will soon be called the Eigth Sector. When the two returned, nothing much was different for the first couple of days, then slowly, they noticed some things were easier to do, some were harder. At first the finding that they had powers was exciting, fresh. They could do what others couldn't. But eventually, they also found that the powers were contagious. If they used any of their powers and touched someone within 30 minutes of usage, it left, and stuck to the person. After a year passed, literally every person in the world had it. The magic had spread, and had become an everyday thing. Though even language barriers were broken when talking about the two people who explored into the Eigth Sector and came out as gods. Each person had their followers, as the two were considered to be different aspects of life. One, enjoyment and freedom. The other, civility and structure. Factions were made, opinions became battles, then wars. Over time, people came to resent the "gods" for the world was becoming a hell hole, and it wasn't supposed to be like that. They rose up against the two, a world wide battle, Two Vs The rest. Ultimately, the kings were dethroned, killed by their "Loyal" followers. Why did I give that information? Well 1: Because I wanted too, and 2: Because they still hve some followers today. People who stick to straight magic rather than mix it with technology for it is "Unpure". They are highly skilled, most of them, and are feared in the underground of society. After the battle, society was disrupted, and thrown into a world where people don't know what to do but survive. The military has come back to power(Since when the two "Gods" were living, they threw the military from power and became the new enforcers)and are trying to restore order as much as possible. All of the armed forces from around the world have to come to form one big army, the UFR(United Forces for Reconstruction).

It is 20 years later, 2209, just if you didn't want to add the 20, technology is universal, everywhere, and magic is mixed in just as often as found.

I'm back with my second attempt at a story! Hopefully this one works out(Since I quit my last attempt to make a story due to it being "too story")

This RP will be a Futuristic, Magical, Action RP with a more gritty turn. You will play as a 15-30 yr old citizen in the city of Tocen_12. One of 12 districts in...Tocen.

The Magic is normally fused heavily with technology, so most people in the world aren't experts at magic.

For magic in general, it goes by the basic 4 elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth. But if magic is fused with technology, more things can be achieved. Everybody in the world has magic naturally inside of them, so no "He/She wasn't born with magic" characters unless you run them by me.

For the technology time...no super AI/VI, not much has been done with robots, they're at about the same level as today(A little farther), except magic can be put into them. Hovering items have been reached though. But obviously, magic is needed.

As for characters, They are all from the same place, and WILL eventually all meet up to find eachother. Their main objective is to become the new "God/Gods". Why they want to aquire this title, it differs for each person. Thy might want to restore order to the world, maybe take what little order is left, maybe just have the title for having it.

More will be explained if this RP actually gets to the signup sheets.

Alright, I gave a summary of the happenings of the RP.

Read the summary. Sounds pretty cool!

I'm curious if we'd be allowed to sign in with multiple characters with this. Other than that, I won't say much else except that it's got potential, and I'll just wait for that character sheet.

I was planning on having a smaller group of people in the first place, so i'd say no to multiple OCs for one person. I want to be able to focus as much as possible on everyone in the RP, and I want the best someone can do in an application, rather than a bunch.

Fair enough. So you're in the process of working on the sheets, or are you waiting to see if you'll get one more person interested? (You know, since you said a small group.)

I'm waiting for 2 or 3 more people.
