Currently has no image. I made one of Margaret Hamilton for a suggestion.

It's good, although the page is for In-Universe examples only. But I don't think it will encourage that, so it's fine.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.

Didn't we just have a topic on this where we settled for Freddy Kreuger?

That said, I like that better... Freddy's "nice actor" picture looked more like a creepy old man.

Krueger is on RealLife.Mean Character Nice Actor.

Considering there is a Real Life page for it, an image with a Real Life example should go there. As for which of those I think is the best, I'm not sure. I don't think it's an improvement to switch, at any rate.

[up] They don't look like the same person at all. Not even the same eye color.

[up] Yeah, I'm not really sure what's happening there myself.

Yeah, that looks like something completely different.

Yeah... those don't... even look related.

Side note: I retract my statement saying OP's suggestion is better than the current Real Life example, since I realize that both pictures look like they're stills from different films, just one where she's mean, and one where she's nice.

I still dislike the current Real Life example.

I could get a screen cap of when she went on Mr. Rogers, but I haven't found a good quality version.

Here's Margaret posing with a cast shot: [1]

And here's one of her posing with Mr. Rogers: [2]

The one of her posing with Mr. Rogers is so very perfect.

[up][up]Prefer no.2 as well, the caption also makes her identity clear.

That said, do we still need an image for the non-real life example, or do we just leave it as it is? The in-universe examples don't seem as thriving, and it doesn't really illustrate the trope as well, unless it comes with captions.

Should we make a new topic to discuss Real Life Mean Character Nice Actor, or can we just use this one?

Why do we need to reopen that discussion?

Because we now have a suggestion for a real life Mean Character Nice Actor, that I personally think is a great improvement.

Lateral move at best. The Freddy image on Real Life is really good.

I agree, the shot of her with Mister Rogers is better than the shot in the OP.

Reclocking this one...I'm undecided on whether or not the Margaret Hamilton pic is any better than the Freddy/Robert pic. Here's the former at 350. Crowner?

Which page are we talking about now? Freddy Krueger is on the Real Life subpage.

AFAIK that's the only place where the Hamilton pic would work.
