3.1 doesn't load for me. 3.2 could work (assuming we can use all 4 panels there). 3.3 looks a bit off-putting. 3.4 could go; 3.5 doesn't work for me.

That's pretty close to what I'm thinking. A single panel with somebody shouting "Duck!", something flying/thrown at the victim, and the victim going "What duck? Where?" . Every other suggestion seems to require two or more panels to explain.
Either way, the caption on the current one is bad.

I tried to find a better image but the only one which I thought was better (a man ducking to avoid a duck zipping over his head) had one or more of watermarks, poor copy and/or copyright notice on every instance of the image.
