Greta is obvi a veteran.
UhEmily would obviously be a noob. She's a good investigator, she would be somewhat Genre Savvy because she plays video games, but hwe work for the FBI is all major crime and a yearning for terrorism and not, oh...Buffy's bazooka being in our world.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursSo we've got five vets and two noobs. This must be a big mission if five agents are needed!
Hey, when (if) the vets complete their mission, can someone try and give Kurt a pat on the back?
Oh good, I didn't miss the beginning. On the note as above, would Haverds be considered a vet? I would think so, because he's been around The Bureau for 2 years, but...
George is definitely a noob.
Just an FYI, I feel we need to have some kind of ranking system. I mean, some people (Like me) have characters thet are here for almost 20 years, but are we all the same rank, or do we have a hierarchy?
UhPersonally, I don't think a ranking system would be so simple. It would be a mix of both how long you've been there, and just how good you are. There's cops and soldiers who have been in their respective fields for decades, but never really got high in the ranks for one reason or another. Whereas there are some people who aren't in their fields for that long, but manage to rise up anyway just because they're that good at what they do. So, again, it'd be a mix.

Could have a very small ranking sytem, like 3 tiers and the GM decides who's in what? Like newbies in the first, normal/vets in the second, then proper veterans, matured older characters with like 20 years experience.
If you are looking for a prize in the box, their is none. Only more cardboard. The RP started without me?
D:
Also, I can has link if it did?
Cesarina's obviously a vet
DID the RP start already? I don't think it did...
Okay apparently it didn't start and I'm just being an idiot.
You're good.
No, it did not. And Attics will be sure to give Kurt a nice pat. Maybe even sneeze on him too!
And KK's definitely right about this being complex. I mean, what would seniority even entail? Further access into the Warehouse? The ability to bring artifacts onto the field? We'd have to talk to Strato about this, but I do like the idea of having ranks.
The only ranks are the Chief and Agents. Done.
So, yeah, I'll only be able to finish this OP tomorrow. Sorry guys... went out for dinner with the family after the show.
So, there's no 'Sergeant, Major, Corporeal', or even different ranks of agents depending on their skill or experience? Because what you suggested sounds like the complete opposite of a realistically organized command structure.
Except that this is an universe where non-realistic things exist.
There's no point in having a Captain because all agents are taught to treat the ones with more experience like they would treat a Captain. It's more of a mentor system.
Men in black style then?
If you are looking for a prize in the box, their is none. Only more cardboard.I guess, yeah.
I gotta watch the series then, that was awesome, and would be a great premise for an RPG.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursDo we all have to wear black suits then?
Well, no. Too obvious.
Black suit wearing is Kurts job.
Awesome! Can't imagine Attics would do well in one.
