Implying Akamatsu has the planning ability/patience to even try to plan a typical arc as of right now.

Seriously, with the way UQ Holder has been with it jumping all over the place, ditching formal arc plots seems to be a given now and just go hog wild with space olympics.

This manga can end at any time. I encourage Akamatsu to end it next chapter. Touta can kiss Kirie, Negi farts out the Lifemaker, Touta Magia-Cancels the Lifemaker, everyone is part of Touta's harem, manga fucking ends at long last.

He can also alter time to end this on chapter one. Surprise! Yukihime was a vampire and now Touta is too, what did it all mean? Nobody cares, Gainax Ending.

I think Akamatsu was being less creepy-loli when drawing Card Captor Sakura doujin.

Again, I'd feel weird for going after Holder for fan-service while being a Negima fan. Only salve I guess is that most of 3-A (at first or later on) looked like miniature adults for the most part. Unlike our "charming" cast here that look their age.

At least Negima didn't pride itself on promotions through porn illustrations and blowup pillows.

The only time I was turned on by anything in Negima was when near the end of Magic World arc that dark skinned nun-professor got stripped. Probably helps that she was actually an adult and not a fucking middle schooler.

I'm sure that stunt should have killed a lot of naked girls. I'm no expert on the subject, but I think that's a big risk when you throw a naked youngster who is not an immortal on the pavement during a high speed race between armored futuristic vehicles.

Akamatsu hand waved it away in the previous chapter by saying safety has been improved to an extreme extent. Which is so artificial it hurts.

HOW ABOUT STOP WRITING SITUATIONS THAT REQUIRE HANDWAVING, AKAMATSU

Reminder this is a society that can go to the ridiculous lenghts of going that far for a stupid event but had to spread large areas of extreme misery around the world.

Might be a metaphor for how some countries spend bazillions of dollars to host the World Cup or the Olympics while people are told to eat grass because there's supposedly no money in the budget. Or am I giving Akamatsu too much credit?

Probably too much credit but true nonetheless.

Might make more sense if this event that goes extra miles to make sure these girls and boys aren't killed off doesn't ban or prevent them to get stripped live before audiences of millions, which would be a major no-no for an Olympic show in the real world. Values Dissonance in a future setting might be an excuse... if only the UQ world weren't pretty much culturally the same as this present day's.

Didn't the Negima epilogue state Haruna and Chamo were working together?

My best guess is at some point Chamo backstabbed Haruna and took over the whole operation. He'll be the Bigger Bad behind the Lifemaker.
