I don't know if this was posted before, but this made me smile.

I don't know if this has been said yet, But it looks like an ''official'' dancing Groot is coming. Sort of.

With hints of a less "Sort of" version in the works.

Speaking of which, Marvel officially posted up the scene themselves.

I need a Groot. Hopefully it's (or another one is) a reasonable price.

I've just written a review of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on my blog! - http://alternativefilmreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/guardians-of-galaxy-review.html

So on the one hand, Guardians is now the top movie for the third week, and second week in a row (with TMNT remaining in spot #2).

On the other hand, it did so beating out a bunch of movies that are getting lackluster viewership.

So it's kind of a win-loose kind of news.

Looking at the box office totals so far it looks like Guardians probably won't reach Winter Soldier levels of profit. Shame, I was hoping it would be more successful.

For what it was the Box Office was pretty damn good.

The fact it got as high as it did is already something of a small miracle, you should be happy it got that far.

It's not doing so hot overseas, but it kicked Winter Soldier's ass in domestic sales.

Probably because America still relates the Cap to incredible shows of Patriotism... something that a lot of them are not confortable with.

On the same token, the rest of the world probably loves the film due to allegorically criticizing America's unpopular spying activities.

Whether or not that was the intent, it's not hard to see the overall message of the film as such.

That's what I love about the Captain America movies- Cap is still a patriotic, Lawful Good sort. But that doesn't mean he believes in My Country, Right or Wrong.

That's something I always liked about Cap too. He represents what America should be rather than what it is and calls out bullshit when he sees it.

Unless you're Ultimate Captain America, from what I've read about it, at least.

Ultimate Captain America basically exists to go "HEY! LOOK AT THE EMBODIMENT OF AMERICA! LOOK HOW SHITTY AND DOUCHEY AMERICA IS."
