Isn't it already split?
- "The 'Verse shared by multiple authors" is Shared Universe
- "A combination of setting-elements and characters that define the rules for how the world works, made by a single author" is The 'Verse
Do we need a Crowner to confirm that?

This is way past the clock and there hasn't been a lot of progress; locking up.

I'd say split Shared Universe by verses shared by multiple authors between those where an author places works in the same universe. I'm not quite sure what she should do about names.
