Look I'm sorry. It's just that I suddenly found some free time in my busy life which will probably be filled up with somethin' next week. I just got an RP cravin' is all.

Still, I'd like to hop in sometime in the future and will be followin' the RP whenever I get the chance.

It's only 45 pages long so gettin' through it shouldn't be too long.

Alright, so, I'm going to let you all know that I'm just going to suspend the RP until after New Year's, because I doubt there will be much activity anyway between the holidays, and I also have less free time than usual, being at my school nine hours a day most days, in addition to finishing my Eagle Scout before my birthday/deadline in a month.

Okay, so now that we're back, I'd like to point out that reviewing the Coro/Marvin tag for reasons totally not relating to my inability to keep a spreadsheet from deleting itself, two errors came up, one of which was a little important. The little one was damage that shouldn't have happened from One Day of Peace: Coro actually has 3700 LP, not 2600 as was stated.

The second, rather important one, is that Shard of Sealed Hate cannot be equipped the turn it is returned from the banished zone to the hand. Luckily this hasn't caused any problems since it hasn't affected anything, but it's an important detail that would have probably gone unnoticed if I just edited since it's about 5 pages back.

Okay, hello guys, I'm finally back.

Apologies for the sudden disappearance, being in a few RP's one or two of them (this one included) slipped my mind when trying to say I was leaving for a while. Had mock exams, and while they may not be too important and stressing on their own, extra pressure from my parents made me worried and therefore had to take some leave of revision, not to mention the actual mocks which I did last week.

Won't be around aaall the time due to school of course, but will try and get back into things and help to move this RP on further best I can.

Well unfortunately a ton of plot just happened and I had assumed you were out. It'd be really hard to get you back in right now, though at the end of this arc I'll try and see if you can join back up.

Aw Im sure he can pick it up! Theres arent THAT many pages to go through, and I touched up on them while I was temporarily out of this RP. Minty's a fast reader and learner!

But from an IC point-of-view his character just appearing there does not make any sense.

His character was already part of the roleplay and he's finished a double duel with me in the past. Him appearing "out of nowhere" doesnt make sense because of that, and it doesnt really matter either way, because even if he wasnt part of the RP earlier, theres a huge school with 1000 students in it, so its perfectly reasonable to say he just got roped into the battles by being challenged by a random bad guy. But as it stands, he WAS part of the RP, and shouldnt be kicked off halfway through because of personal circumstances. That just seems unfair to me. If we kick off every player who has to take a break due to personal circumstances then that just seems odd.

kog, I understand what you mean, but the fact is I simply don't have time to catch someone up right now and I really do not want to delay what's happening right now for one player. As soon as Jimbo is done talking with Scott, I need to move things along at a pretty rapid pace. However, most days of the week I have maybe free hours to do this now. It wouldn't be fair to the other RPers to delay so that Mint could finish another duel that could take up a week or two IRL with my current schedule.

But he's not in a duel at the moment, so no time needs to be wasted on him. You could just have him tag along with my character following the Spanish dude. He doesnt even have to duel at all, just have him accompany myself. And as I said, he's a fast reader, I have utmost faith in him being able to catch up on everything thats happened.

The problem is, I'm not confident in my own ability to be inclusive with more people. Right now we have eight active roleplayers- Des, you, Plum, Evii, krika, Stan, nman, and Lior. I've learned that it's really, really hard to deal with more than eight people at once, and the fact is that his character has to be caught up in a believable fashion. The problem is, the only way to get him involved in the plot easily is to have him in a duel with a Shard user- which could take really long and needlessly delay things. Simply bringing him into the fold would be OOC for basically all the NPCs that are involved- Scott being the exception, but he's already stretching it with Jimbo (and his reasons are a mix of previous characterization AND potentially spoilery stuff), and I'm relying on Jimbo's established talkativeness to bring Gal into things.

The only way I could see to do it would have him complete a duel off-screen- which I won't do. I'm not a huge fan of off-screen characterization in an RP, and I'm loathe to do it in what would amount to a few hours in-universe. In addition, I've already started outlining the next 'episode' of sorts pertaining to the Shard users and such, and it would throw off a lot to have another person to account for.

Look, I really wish that Mint could join. But for the same reasons I couldn't let Philosopher's Stones back in right now, I can't make an exception for Mint.
