So this apparently doesn't have a topic. I'm only the fourth episode into the anime and you know what [bugs] me? Why aren't the wind magic users taking full advantage of being ninjas?

I mean, besides the main character who is apparently a freak of nature, wind wizards have less raw power than fire users, except with the help of Sealed Evil in a Can. You control air, for fuck's sake. It's touched upon, the servant clan of wind wizards seems to be used as spies and the main character mentions how if a wind wizard doesn't want to be sensed, a fire wizard is not going to sense him.

So why oh why do all the wind wizard seem on board with freeing their old boss (same as the new boss) so they can go act like fire wizard again? Now, main character not withstanding, when you have command over 'air' you do not need to be throwing around Tornadomehas. Let the fire wizard blew shit up, you cancel out all sound and smell from your body, move as swiftly as the wind and slit shit's throat.

Also makes me wonder what other elements are gonna be like. Personally, I'd go for water users diggin' on the purity angle for White Mage action and earth users being Barrier Maidens. But they're probably blast stuff and bemoan the fact that they can't blast stuff as well as the guy who slings fire balls around.

Just so you know, the anime doesn't get a conclusive finale and the author died before completing the series.
