Old news, but I want to share this.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Do they even have Muslims in Japan? I know China does, but Japan?

Yes.
Mostly expats. The "minority" are those who converted.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"So, I heard today this tidbit of news that ISIS' Libyan branch is so strapped for cash that their black-wearing, masked extremists are selling poultry and eggs in Sirte.
I thought they were just doing black market organ harvesting from injured fighters.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Well, they're also shaking down the locals (shopkeepers and owners of buildings overlooking the port where ISIS conducts arms trade) for rent money. That is, having the owner pay rent for his own property.
But that's not nearly as funny as the mental image of a GLA-wannabe selling chickens.
You mean a protection racket?

Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleDa'esh kill 16 Real Madrid fans in Iraq as football is un-Islamic.
I hate Da'esh so goddamn much. A beautiful post from r/soccer I'd like to share.
But they fell in love with Real Madrid.
In a war-torn, unstable, unsafe, and poverty-stricken country, these guys met with their friends and sat in a cafe watching Real Madrid. And, when there wasn't a live game on, they watched old matches.
These people were proper supporters. These 16 fans loved Real Madrid as much as any other Madridista. And they have been murdered because of their love for Real Madrid and the beautiful game.
May they rest in peace.

Schild und Schwert der Partei... How the fucking hell is soccer un-Islamic?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It's European.
Doesnt matter. The point is to demonstrate their ability to kill across borders.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."My opinion: ISIS is nominally Islamic, but I'd argue they're actually closer to Fascists with an "Islamic Nationalism" agenda (Islam being a part of a "national identity"). Soccer is a foreign cultural influence that they'd want to keep out of their culture.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Why does ISIS do anything it does?
Schild und Schwert der ParteiIIRC the Taliban banned all sports as un-Islamic, so its not without precedent in violent nutbar circles.
Saw a great article on BBC last year that said ISIS had a lot more in common with 20th century totalitarian groups (fascists, Nazis, extreme nationalists/militarists in general, Stalinists, Khmer Rouge, Maoists, Shining Path, etc) than any of the Caliphates they claim to draw their inspiration from

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Caliphates were very open to multinationalism, even the Turkish ones.
I feel deeply indifferent to football, but fuck DAESH. That is petty, even for them.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Well, the Arabs did eventually tick off the Berbers/Iberians/Iranians enough for them to break off (well, this was combined with a lot of other factors that made those empires unsustainable) and the Ottoman record is mixed on a good day but ISIS is clearly several orders of magnitude away from that.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Nigeria: Signs of deepening co-operation between militant groups: https://www.stratfor.com/situation-report/nigeria-signs-deepening-coordination-between-militant-group-islamic-state
Blinken said there are signals that the group which has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, is sending fighters from Nigeria to Libya to fight alongside the Islamic State there.
He also said there is evidence the Islamic State has provided training and material assistance to Wilayat al Sudan al Gharbi. Blinken said the United States is providing Nigeria's army with armored vehicles in the fight against the militant group, but would not comment on a request from Abuja for Washington to sell it attack aircraft.
can we stop calling them ISIS and... I can't remember how to spell the other one, they're the Central United Northern Territories of Syria, CUNTS
advancing the front into TV TropesDaesh. It's pretty simple.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I'm not entirely sure what I'm feeling about this.
Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleI like CUNTS, but it's a bit sexist.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. It's pretty unflattering to real cunts.
