I thought they were just doing black market organ harvesting from injured fighters.

Well, they're also shaking down the locals (shopkeepers and owners of buildings overlooking the port where ISIS conducts arms trade) for rent money. That is, having the owner pay rent for his own property.
But that's not nearly as funny as the mental image of a GLA-wannabe selling chickens.

I hate Da'esh so goddamn much. A beautiful post from r/soccer I'd like to share.
But they fell in love with Real Madrid.
In a war-torn, unstable, unsafe, and poverty-stricken country, these guys met with their friends and sat in a cafe watching Real Madrid. And, when there wasn't a live game on, they watched old matches.
These people were proper supporters. These 16 fans loved Real Madrid as much as any other Madridista. And they have been murdered because of their love for Real Madrid and the beautiful game.

My opinion: ISIS is nominally Islamic, but I'd argue they're actually closer to Fascists with an "Islamic Nationalism" agenda (Islam being a part of a "national identity"). Soccer is a foreign cultural influence that they'd want to keep out of their culture.

IIRC the Taliban banned all sports as un-Islamic, so its not without precedent in violent nutbar circles.
Saw a great article on BBC last year that said ISIS had a lot more in common with 20th century totalitarian groups (fascists, Nazis, extreme nationalists/militarists in general, Stalinists, Khmer Rouge, Maoists, Shining Path, etc) than any of the Caliphates they claim to draw their inspiration from

Well, the Arabs did eventually tick off the Berbers/Iberians/Iranians enough for them to break off (well, this was combined with a lot of other factors that made those empires unsustainable) and the Ottoman record is mixed on a good day but ISIS is clearly several orders of magnitude away from that.
