[up]Sweet. I'll take any help I can get with ideas.

I won't spoil too much about what I have so far, some of it is revealed later.

But the basic gist of the NPCs I have so far include:

1) A meek, sickly, frail man with a problem involving substance abuse. 2) A paranoid, rigid, brooding, and world-weary man who wants to leave his past behind.

I basically want NP Cs that can be interacted with. They need to have interesting personas and VERY clear problems/vices/anxieties/etc. The relevance of these problems/vices/anxieties/etc become evident a bit into the game.

And you're looking for canon characters, not OCs?

[up]No, these NPCs are original characters.

Silent Hill games typically had other NPCs to interact with and they typically helped to move the plot forward.

I've always thought isolation was scarier.

[up]It is, but Silent Hill games typically offer a FEW humans to interact with. They provide a sense of brief relief from wandering around in stifling darkness and fog with... things roaming about.

Then again, this won't exactly be isolation either, since there'll be a small group of R Pers.

Cutting this thread. If people didn't sign up for the other one, I doubt this one will fly, judging by the lack of posts.
