The peacock spider's mating dance is one of the cutest things I ever saw, and I don't generally care much about "cute". But LOOK AT IT, LOOK AT IT WIGGLE ITS BUTT:

I never heard of this before; but apparently you are correct, jumping spiders do wear raindrops as hats.
This is a good universe.
