So when are we getting a review of Justice League?
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseRob said that if they ended up reviewing that movie, it would be next year. (My money is on it being the next live screening.)
Just a person. He/him.I mean, I assumed it wasn't going to be this month, but it looks like it won't be next month either???
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseHas anybody been watching Disneycember?
I'm a bit mixed on Doug's movie choices so far. I feel like there's a lack of variety — too many of the reviews are on film series like Zenon or Halloween Town.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?He did say that when he reviews a movie, he'd review the sequels too.
Not Three Laws compliant.Zenon, Halloweentown, and High School Musical are the ones he's covering that, out of all the Disney Channel original movies, have the highest # of sequels. This isn't even mentioning how he's heading towards Descendents soon. There are incountable amounts of these movies the network has made that clearly can't take up a month, so I wonder if he's cherry-picking movies to cover.
I grew up on disney channel movies, and he's definitely picking the highlights tbh, which was his intention.
Read my stories! At least there's extras for him to go over next year.
I wonder what will happen when he finally runs out. He can't be too far now. I can't see this going on any much longer.
Maybe he'll try general films or maybe because of the FOX merger, that'll keep it going a lot longer.
Where's my yummy yummy Porgs.Last year, Rob was doing a countdown of the best Christmas movies in the December days leading to the holiday season on his Facebook; he said Doug might do something like that for a Disneycember at some point, as they were running out of films to cover.
Of course, with the Fox merger, I can see him doing the X-Men movies next year which would take him 12-13 days (depending on whether he would include X-Men: Dark Phoenix). The rest of the month could be the On Popular Demand edition: the most requested Disney films he hasn't talked about yet. (I've heard some people really want him to cover The Journey of Natty Gann.)
I've also read some suggestions about doing a Touchstone Pictures month.

Just a person. He/him.Aliens and Predator are also with Fox, so he could also do those.

Oh yeah, I forgot about them. So that gives him about 9-11 additonal days. He can also cover the Fantastic Four movies he hasn't talked about yet (the Roger Corman version and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer).
Just a person. He/him.This week's NC is postponed until tomorrow.
Just a person. He/him.Disneycember for Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie
I'm surprised Doug enjoyed it. Even when I was near the target demographic watching this (and the show) back in the day, I thought it wasn't very good. The show came off to me like a less funny Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Star Wars: The Last Jedi, with Brad Jones and Chris Stuckmann.
Next week: Mars Attacks!. A bit of an odd choice, the movie doesn't really lend itself for a riff-type review, as it kind of makes fun of itself already. I assume the video will be a more analytical style review.
Just a person. He/him.Eh, dunno, he has done not that serious movies before without changing the style. Or maybe my memory is being bad again

Ugh, I didn't like Mars Attacks at all, it probably deserves a good riffing.
Optimism is a duty.Just watched the Last Jedi review.
I like the fact they complain about the Finn/Rose subplot unnecessary and should have been cut down.... but then later say Rose confessing she loves Finn makes no sense because they didn't share enough screen time together.
Because logic is for pussies, I guess.

With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationIt makes sense. It's not because their subplot is long that the number of interactions they get make the declaration of love logical. Two characters can have a long subplot but barely any interactions together.
For example: Boba Fett is in most of Jabba's suplot in Return of the Jedi. But the two never interact.

I never really got the whole Boba Fett fandom, to be honest. I mainly know about him because of said fandom.
Optimism is a duty.Well, he's probably one of the truest examples of an Ensemble Dark Horse. Bounty hunter with cool looking armour, demonstrably cunning (sees through the falcons escape plot) and ultimately succeeds in capturing Han.
The viewer was then free to fill in all the blanks themselves.
I think they are now trying to do the same thing with Phasma.
Optimism is a duty.Poorly. At least Boba Fett had some sympathetic characterization (if we can call it that). He was clever enough to follow the Falcon, clearly not afraid of voicing concerns to Vader directly and showed respect towards disguised Leia's threat towards Jabba. Phasma on the other hand is just a cowardly traitor with no accomplishments.
She survived being crushed into a cube, that's an accomplishment surly?
New theme music also a boxnot sure how Phasma was a traitor
but I am also not sure why she was so easy to take as a hostage in TFA if her armor was blastproof
Maybe they didn't have one? (For whatever reason?)
