Definitely the best episode yet. Not that the benchmark I'd that high to begin with, but you know what I mean. They got some incredibly entertaining contestants this time, and that made all the difference.

I correctly predicted what he'd review again!

I guess I just know him too well.

I wish he'd put all his videos on You Tube. Blip TV videos constantly fuck up for me for some obnoxious reason.

As for the movie itself, I've never seen it in its entirety. The main thing I can say about it is it's weird Garfield is the only CGI animal in the film while all the others are played by actual animals with creepy moving, Uncanny Valley mouths. It's distracting to say the least.

At least this movie has more justification for existing than the "Marmaduke" movie from 2010. Does ANYONE actually like the "Marmaduke" comic strip?

I mean, in like a month you won't need to worry about that, since Blip will be gone by then.

... Doug. ... the SPECIALS were all musicals. And they played jazz, the same style Garfield sings here...... I continue to uphold my assumption that you just hate musicals on principle.

That Coen Brothers skit took up a full sixth of the review! I suppose it's best that they got it out of their system up front this time.

So does this mean we get an Uncle Yo crossover in two weeks?

That was a pretty good review. Well, good except for that absolutely cringe-worthy joke about "Jurassic World". Just like his constant swipes at "Man of Steel" (which he also referenced in this video), he isn't going to let this go, is he? For shit's sake, MOS came out TWO years ago now. Get over it already.

The constant cracks about Garfield's appearance in the movie were funny, though.

Oh god, all those jokes about that CGI Garfield...I give him points for creative insults (Starfire's moldy kooch was one, right?). The Coen Bros. parody in the beginning was kind of long, but I found it pretty funny.

Also, about his Man of Steel joke (not focusing on the Jurrasic World swipe, since I'm the only schlub that hasn't seen it yet)...I have no positive or negative opinion on the film, so I really couldn't care less about his swipe on the product placement.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

Was anyone else confused as to whether or not John could understand Garfield in the movie? There were times it seemed they were responding to each others comments.

And then there's the last CGI Garfield movie called "Garfield: A Tale Of Two Kitties". While I got through the first movie, the sequel had me falling asleep. Speaking of Live-Action films. Why do I smell a future review on the Live-Action Smurfs movies?

[up]That's what I thought. They mentioned in a Steven Universe V-log last Friday that they'd just come back from a movie which was so bad that it left them nearly completely drained. 4 guesses as to what they were referring to.tongue

Pixels *was* pretty bad. Hell, I saw it at a theater that served alcohol, and even that didn't help much.

wild mass guess When Doug does his hopefully inevitable review of Fantastic Four (2015), when he points out how Reed's teacher was Dan Castellaneta, he'll reference this. wild mass guess
