Changed w/o discussion: Pretty Freeloaders

The previous image was a JAFAAC of Faye Valentine, which has been lost due to the history glitches. While I do think the current one is an improvement, it's grainy and poor quality. It comes from here; I think the last two panels work best.

Pretty freeloader makes it sound like she's supposed to be attractive. Is that the case or is this really just a freeloader?

It works, but mostly just dialogue.

It's weak, but better than nothing so I'll vote Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Sorry that this won't be a constructive/helpful post. However, the image is somewhat problematic. While its shown that the female character isn't helping with the bills, she's shown helping out with housework; which in my opinion, is very much not freeloading.

Eh, yeah, I have to agree. She doesn't seem like a freeloader.

I was thinking the same thing. Not only is it clear she is doing chores, it makes it seem like there is a possibility of her at least entertaining the idea of helping with the bills, rather than it just being accepted that "Whelp. She's purdy. She stays for free."

That's a fair point...I hadn't thought about it but you're right. Is there anything in the linked comics from that title that could be used?

I prefer a picture of the freeloader just lounging around, rather than looking like she actually helps with the chores, which doesn't really fit the trope well.

She also seems to be actively avoiding paying the bills, which he implies is what he really needs help with. I don't think it's problematic at all. She's still doing what she wants to, and not what he wants her to, which still amounts to freeloading, as he's the one with the rights to the place.

If we want someone just lounging around then there is a panel of that earlier in the same comic.

I'm not really getting that at all. From just that image, it looks like she's actively making an effort to not freeload by working for the guy, and he's taking advantage of it. The fact that she's asking if there's anything else she can do to help implies that she's already doing something to earn her keep, and is looking for more to do. That doesn't sound like a freeloader at all.

Which is why my vote was to add the second panel, where she refuses to get a job.

Yeah, adding the last panel is definitely an improvement.

The girl who played DS all day from the OP is a better example.

I don't think doing a little bit of housework is earning her keep. Still freeloading.

Ever tried cleaning up a house? Trust me... it's hard work. Ask any housewife/husband, maid or domestic help.

Agreed. I don't know why the current was picked when there's a clearer, better example in the same strip itself. I feel this is better since not only is she not contributing at all (unlike the other girl), she's being completely unrepentant about it (where as the other girl is at least feeling bad and putting an effort).

Last three panels would be better, or even just the last two. First panel adds nothing, and the last panel at least establishes the "pretty" part by mentioning harems.
