And the blogs are all run by Kankri.
Stupid doomed timeline...What? Nagger?
hashtagsarestupidNiger. You know, the country.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I thought it was "nearer".
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Could be anything.
nagger, nailer, naiver, napper, natter, nearer, neater, necker, nectar, needer, nester, nestor, nether, netter, neuter, nicker, niffer.
hashtagsarestupidMaybe it didn't create them, rather than allowing these kind of morons to find each other, but it certainly changed something. Having no perspective about ones own importance or the real scale of ones own problems is a staple of the typical internet nutter, but the current manifestation of the "Obnoxious Social Justice Warrior" trope is quite new.
Somewhere along the line, pretending to be oppressed became the new Pokemon Trading Cards; everyone has to have as many as you can get and, in this game, you can just invent your own if you want. This sums up my thoughts on it all far better than I can.
And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)The author of this tumblr blog has skin weaker than fuckin' Zima.
And what is this douche's problem with people wearing garb from another culture? That to me smacks of prejudice to assert white people can't wear kimonos or such.
... I need a friggin drink.
Update: OH HELL NAW! This cuntsuck went after Emilie Autumn. The motherfucker.

The comments on that article...I don't think the author could have done a better job of proving her point.
I never got the whole appropriation thing.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The SJ blogs and tumblrs I follow make mincemeat of people who claim to be transethnic and the like though. The better ones out there certainly don't put up with "otherkin oppression" or crap like that.
While the issue of appropriation can be muddied with some items (and as a Jew with male relatives with ridiculously big curly hair, I can't bring myself to stop calling it a Fro), it is shitty to appropriate items that have deep religious significance if you don't follow that faith and are just using it to be trendy.

Emperor Wu liked cake, but not exploding cake!Landy: fair enough, but it seems like the jackass running that tumblr takes offense to any white person wearing an article of clothing from another culture.
I sure hope kilts are included in that because, as much as I think it's absolute bullshit, it'd better be consistent bullshit.
If you're going to moan about appropriation, get on the case of people that wear kilts outside their clan. That shit is clanist and they know it!
YUUGI WANTS YOU FOR DRINKING BUDDYYes.
The biggest problem facing the world today is the improper use of kilts.
That said, considering some of the pedantry on the site, I wouldn't be surprised if it is brought up, now that I think about it.

YUUGI WANTS YOU FOR DRINKING BUDDYThat'd be quite funny, considering that the idea of the Kilt as some kind of Scottish national symbol goes back little further than George IV's visit in 1822. The "Tartanry" fad that sprung up in its wake is largely responsible for the modern (mis)conceptions about what pre-19th century Scotland looked like.
I don't even know who's appropriating who in this situation anymore.
And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)People shouldn't wear '80s fashions because that's racist against Madonna.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Oh my G** religious figure who I do not refer to to avoid offending religious people, is that a white man wearing a PARKA? Do you realize what huge insult you are making to the E****o Inuits? RACIST RACIST RACIST RACIST RACIST!
I'm sorry, your Honour, it was but a crime of fashion.
YUUGI WANTS YOU FOR DRINKING BUDDYAnd yet white people have been wearing moccasins for hundreds of years. Surely that's racist?
I wear an alpaca scarf. Should I feel guilty?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Not as much, considering that there was actually trading that occurred between white settlers in America and the Native Americans.
Of course, what they gave in return for the moccasins was smallpox, so maybe it wasn't an even exchange.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Whomever runs this tumblr has skin so thin you can probably see their innards.
I think that censoring regardless of context words because someone might be so fragile as to take offence at the mere sight of it is incredibly patronizing; to still make it clear what the word is is stupid and self-defeating.
Isn't that exactly how most "Tumblr Justice" operates, though?
See, I think the internet is a wonderful tool for getting information and knowledge to people that can result in actual change. Since Tumblr emerged, however, there has been a definite trend of people circlejerking about mostly pointless shit. Even valid points get undermined by the entitled, condescending high-horses that they're delivered from.
To go from reading about actual, real world problems to being preached at about how Lego's are actively oppressing people certainly makes you wonder about what Utopia some people grew up on if that's their idea of "Problematic".
