Tempest: The Shade War Discussions

Here's the discussion thread, so we can do any talk about the characters and actual RP here. Worldbuilding stuff will still go here: [1] I plan to make a sign up thread to organize the already accepted characters in one place.

Like I said before, I'm going to make two groups. One will start in the Solar Empire and the other will start in the Lunar Republic. This is what I have planned so far.

Romanian Inquisitor- Reithe~Amiri~Wind/Slicing

I'm guessing the individual parties will occasionally meet up at certain points, yeah?

Also I need to figure out why Augustin would be snooping around the Lunar Republic. Treasure, perhaps?

Yeah, they'll meet up at points, depending on their current objectives and how far off the rails this gets.

Of course, I'm the person that keeps the Solar group together.

Cool.

Meanwhile, everyone in the Lunar group will probably view Augustin as a French Jerk. A very dapper French jerk, but a jerk all the same. Take your bets on how long it takes until they get fed up with him!

Wondering how Leonard will come off to the different groups.

Sorry for pestering you so much Scorpio, but is there any particular reason why the groups are uneven (the Lunar group has two more than the Solar group)? Is it to ensure that there's an even spread of abilities?

But yeah, I'm looking forward to this.

Two things: Decided to forgo the derringer. Am playing her as a bit oon the naive and idealistic side so it probably wouldn't occur to her to have a holdout weapon

Also I mentioned that the derringer was going to be carried in a large woven fiber sack. I want to go into more detail on the sack and it's contents in my final character sheet so give that a look so you can approve or not. Basically since she's an Alchemist it's what she carries the tools of her trade in.

Yeah but I decided a holdout weapon doesn't fit her personality. keepng the other weapons, after all, she's naive, not stupid.

Alright, then you can post her final sheet with no gun at all if you don't want one.

Also, in the interest of keeping things even (and because I will be amused), would it be alright if Amiri was moved to the Solar party?

I'm OCD about sides being even and such. :P

Technically, If I moved you, it would still be uneven when Firehuntress is added, and then there would be two wind users on one side. It'll work out this way, and I can insert a new character if someone else joins without making both uneven.
