Except didn't every human in the Underground have the power to Reset, considering Sans and Asgore seemingly recognizing when you do?

Asriel probably didn't get the power to reset after absorbing Chara's soul because monsters absorbing human souls is a weird situation with different rules.
I figure that makes more sense than every human being able to reset except Chara.

Dorked: Really liking what you're doing with IF! You've done a great job at nailing the characters... character. Skelebros' antics had me giggling again, and that change to the dog guard caught me off guard. Also, doing real good with Frisk's character; seeing them suddenly nopeing out of that awful situation was a nice move.
I don't know if you're already done with it, but if not, may I suggest making the talk about EXP less direct? It comes off as a little awkward when it's said out loud... well, whispered.
PS: Had to look up "fir" in Google to see if it was not a typo. Ya snippery snail!

Sans knows about the resets because of Flowey's shenanigans, the other humans probably showed up before Sans was around. The only possible evidence of the other humans being able to reset is Asgore.

Plus the fact that you're likely doing a ton of resets, and we know that you resetting causes deja vu in characters as well.

doesn't sound like something caused by just Frisk resetting, or the mere fact that they're the 8th kid to fall down there.

Yeah, the context is Frisk resetting, Toriel suddenly knowing their preferences, and her comparing the situation to what's happened with previous children.

I mean, Steven HAS repeatedly fantasized or had melodramatic Imagine Spots of, at least about dying and immediately becoming a skeleton. It all makes sense! Too bad Papyrus lost his hair, tho. And his mom!
In all seriousness though, why is this even a question? There's room in this world for at least two adorable Best Boys.
Anyway, I had an itch to draw some different body types like a week ago and that wound up becoming a pair of very different olders Frisks, and that wound up becoming a lot more doodles of them both (and also some friends and family, because yeah, monsters).

If Asriel had the power to reset I'm pretty sure they wouldn't allow himself to die like he did either and the excuse of him not knowing how to do it doesn't work because he as Flowey uncovers that powers just because he has the sudden realization he doesn't want to die after trying to take his own life.
It really wouldn't make sense if Chara had the power to reset. Flowey has the power because of the determination injected into him while Frisk seems to some kind of anomaly.
