Indeed. And shallow metals, gobbos, and other potential wealth. Oh we do have a small aquifer source but we will have to see if you guys can find it without drowning the fort.

I'd like to point out the word "attempt" in my post, as I don't know how DF handles volcanically heating water. Either way, the results should be amusing.

[up][up][up] Water+Magma=Obsidian. So unless you want to encase your bathers in solid glass-like rock, I'd avoid that particular piece of alchemy.

Be careful what you wish for, 'cause you might just get it all...

[up] no no Ripsaw, I think what Hermunster meant was running magma under the floor of a bath. like, Water Floor Lava

to volcanically heat the water from below, like a hot-spring. I don't THINK that works. but i'm not entirely sure if that works Hermunster, could be neat to try though.
