Also, wouldn't it be princess? Vegeta's not had a proper coronation. He has no palace, or crown, or throne.

He's the crown prince. So. Like, when a King dies, and the Prince is an adult, the Prince usually takes over in terms of power and authority and responsibility immediately, but they're still called a Prince until they actually do the coronation. King in all but title.

That's what I always pictured Vegeta's situation as. He's not a king in terms of title because he hasn't had a coronation because he can't have a coronation.

I admit that it was a little over the line on that... line. I wanted to show Vegeta's just absolute bastardry without blowing up a planet all filler-like.

Also, originally the line was that she was eighteen. I should have left it there.

As for why no Napp Geta baby, the line was that they "had" the technology, implying that it was lost when Planet Vegeta was destroyed. And even if they could have access to it, since it's probably PTO tech, Freeza could always bullshit a reason for them not to get access. After all, why allow them to breed when you wiped out their species? Not that he could ever say so, or geld them for instance, or they'd grow suspicious.

Freeza probably wouldn't bullshit out a reason not to let them breed. He'd probably just go "No."

Freeza wouldn't explain himself, Freeza never needs to explain himself. As far as he knows, there's exactly two people he should fear in the universe, and both of them don't give a fuck.

Frieza does care about his image though.

Frieza likes looking like a gentleman. He considers himself refined and regal and stuff.

Well, we do have the Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil trope.

Also my main gripe with this is that I don't think Vegeta would go for rape simply because Vegeta would be focused on other thinigs.

I mean. Real genocides often involves rapes.

The thing about rape is that as a trope its a very sexist one. Its about reducing agency, and reducing to an object, and. It happens mostly to women. Like, statistically. In fiction and outside it.

Which isn't to reduce the tragedy of male rapes. They happen, and the fact that men that have been raped aren't believed and are expected to have enjoyed it or that they couldn't be overpowered like that is awful. It is.

Like, blowing up a planet is a fantastical crime that nobody has ever done. Rape. Isn't.

Rape as a trope is a very sexist trope only because it's one of the 'easiest' ways to make drama, and a lot of young 'writers' just consider rape to be 'something that happens to women'. We call it Women In Refrigerators.

Honestly, I dislike it mostly because it's a cheap way to show someone is ridiculously heinous and evil.

In that context, Frieza doesn't need or want to resort to subterfuge or justifying his actions. If he tells you no, it's no, and that's intended to be the end of it, period.

Basically, Freeza does not raise his voice or act in an unprofessional manner because he does not need to. He acts refined and regal because he is in control and he knows it.

It's telling that he only breaks from that behavior when he finds people he actually cannot boss over. It's something he's never had to experience before, and it shows.
