How does the Lilo and Stitch continuity work?

As some of you know, Lilo and Stitch has established that American Dragon: Jake Long, Kim Possible, The Proud Family and even Recess all exist in the same universe, along with Lilo and Stitch. And, apparently, Kim Possible exists in the same universe as Phineas and Ferb, which means the other shows do too. All that might have worked in terms of Cameo appearances, but after thinking about the matter further, i find that that raises alot of questions.

For one thing, this means that a crossover between Kim Possible and American Dragon: Jake Long would have been too easy, why didn't Disney just go down that route? Though, even if they did, there were still a lot of other issues with continuity.

If all of these shows exist in the same universe than that means that the Proud Family cast and the Recess gang all live in a world where aliens and magical creatures are real. Even though both shows have had at least one episode where it was implied that such things really were just fantasy and science-fiction. Also, if all of these shows exist in the same universe, why wasn't Kim ever called in to deal with Doofenshmirtz or Phil Benedict? What were Jake, Penny, the Recess Gang, and the Danville Posse doing when Drakken attacked the world in "So the Drama"? Why weren't the Galactic Federation (Lilo and Stitch) doing something about Mitch or the Lorwardians, isn't Earth under their protection now?

Crossover episodes. Non-canon ones I would wager.

I haven't seen hide nor hair of Kim Possible anywhere on that show.

IIRC, a KP/Phineas crossover was rumored to be made once, but never delivered.

I heard that Kim Possible once made a cameo appearance in an episode of Phineas&Ferb, but I haven't seen the episode in question myself.

answer: they all live in the same crazy world of Disney. Other than recess, all of them have quirks separating them from a more realistic universe (aliens in Kim Possible and Lilo and Stitch, magical creatures in American Dragon: jake long, and Al Roker somehow having magical powers in The Proud Family). recess...I don't know. Maybe they live in a more "normal" area of the Disney universe.

I was better off forgetting about that Roker stuff. I mean, seriously, WTF was up with that?

i do remember seeing a girl looking suspiciously like Lilo in the lemonade stand episode.

anyway, i know for a fact that Recess and Fillmore take place in the same universe. Spinelli was clearly seen in a cafeteria scene at X Middle School.
