Burn my children, burn!
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEWould you rather play this?
Well, it doesn't look ALL bad. Although that whole "slow the game the fuck down to highlight some finishing move you're gonna see ALL THE FUCKING TIME" thing really has to die.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Uncanny Valley and slowmo aside, it looks pretty good. Nice to see another TMNT beat-em-up.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Nyyyeeeeeeh, could be cool. The slow mo could just be video effects, not actual gameplay. If only it came to PC as well.
Actually, those slow-motion effects are part of the game; they serve as combo extenders which allow you to, besides finishing off a single enemy, either change to another turtle and continue the combo, or link into a tag-team attack with two or even all four turtles at once. The fighting system is apparently quite deep and actually seems to play more like a co-op Ninja Gaiden than Batman: Arkham City.
Raph trailer for those who missed it:
Also, exclusive Donatello trailer on Entertaimnent Weekly.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Jesus Christ those designs look awful and creepy as hell. Why aren't they using the Nickelodeon ones?
Couldn't afford them? Wanted to be more GRIMDARK?
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Probably the latter. I mean, they already got the rights from Nick to produce this game in the first place.
I suspect these designs are meant to be in-tune with the ones for the incoming live action movie.

Read the old comics, then we'll talk again.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.saw a few of those trailers. the designs could take some warming up to, but other than that, it looks decent.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Well I noticed the Turtles have two toes now . It looks interesting though, although, from those two trailers, they could diversify their enemies a bit more. All it looked like were Foot Ninjas. Still, I'll withold judgement until it actually comes out.
a bit of gameplay footage for you guys.
Well - hopefully they'll iron out all those bugs soon. Or has this been released yet already?
Proton Jon reviewed this game just recently. It's probably the most pleasant and informative negative review I've heard of the game. I have a feeling the bugs he mentions will be ironed out eventually.
XBLA and PSN this Summer.
