I lol'd at that line. I need to get everyone I interact with into this show so that I can leave formal voicemails spoken like I am reading an 18th century letter and gush about the awful intercourse I had and how I can not wait to have more. Unfortunately, I also think that Jeremy will return, and it was such a touching resolution too. My only real fault with this show is that it may be going out of its way to make connections between the characters past and present. Also, I am interested in Jirving and Irving's obvious, to me, desire to have another chance with his wife and how it all competes with the main plot. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if forces were conspiring to have Irving end up in Sleepy Hollow. Given that Moloch taunts him, I think he is a threat or at least could be immensely helpful to Crane and Mills. Maybe it is as simple as Moloch wanting to isolate Crane and Mills to make them feel like they have no allies to turn too, but maybe the part Irving plays is essential. I also got the impression that the Four Who Speak as One had only put Jeremy in suspended animation and Crane may be offered the chance to revive Jeremy and/or Katrina in exchange for handing over Abbie's soul.

I don't want Irving to turn evil to save his family. I like Irving.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. That seems like it would be more of Andy's thing. We'll just have to see.
I don't see Irving going evil to save his family (I hope). I think it would be more likely he would hightail it somewhere else and take a job that got his family out of the line of fire and allowed him to spend more time with his daughter, or that he would go completely overboard in the fight against evil and make bad decisions out of rage. I just realized that Moloch seems to have changed tactics to focusing on fracturing the group given his message to Ichabod and taunting of Irving (if that was Moloch directly).

The last episode was pretty great for the character dynamics. I am on edge for the season finale.
Shit son, that was a plot twist smorgasbord.
November is going to take forever to get here.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Daaaaaaaamn.
That was a legit good twist right there.
I figured Jeremy was going to return, possibly as a Horseman and I suspected something was up with Henry, but the way the twist went down was a complete surprise.
I'm sorry to say I couldn't help laughing at Death carrying off Katrina (though, sadly not saying HUARGH the whole time because it was so reminiscent of the climax of the Burton movie.
Oh! And the yearbook with "Don't ever change," was a great touch.

Shit, you know it's a crazy ride when zombie George Washington doesn't even get a mention on the forums. Next season is so far away.
I'll be honest, I did sort of see it coming. The idea of Parish appearing any longer than two episodes told me instantly that something would happen with him; His inclusion in the finale cemented that before I'd started.
I liked it, I really did.
I found it strange that they gave Andy this transformation thing and we never really see much of it. I'm guessing he might be back at some point or it seems a bit anti-climax.
I was really disappointed that, as soon as Katrina gets free of Purgatory, she gets captured. Ugh... I want her to do something.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I was disappointed to hear that Washington really was dead.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. For the record, Ichabod was also 'really dead' before the series started, in a manner of speaking. Also, need I point out a certain someone from last episode who was revealed to be alive.
Death is a bit cheap here.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. So it was a fake skeleton?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. We had a lot of other stranger things happening in that exact same episode, one particularly with Washington being revived after 4 days of death to draw a map of Purgatory. Having a guy we just saw as a deceased skeleton rising from the dead doesn't sound too far-fetched at this point.
Washington comes back as a ghost?
The Revival process 'regrows' the body back to a livable state?
The Skeleton itself was a fake in the first place (with the teeth meant to make others believe it was actually Washington)?
Instead of an actual Washington walking around, the Skeleton itself comes to life? Could play with the horror of being stuck in animated bones and how that might feel or upset a person.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Next season cant come fast enough for this crazy as hell show!
(Although my other programs are keeping me ocupied...)
Always the afterthoughtOh my goodness that was freaking amazing! I love this show, it just keeps the momentum going from beginning to end. And oh my goodness can we please talk about shirtless Headless Horseman?
I'm so happy the second season is here.
Shirtless Horseman was so unexpected.

The Headless Horseman is too disappointing for me to be excited by anything he does. Initially, I was happy to see him with his trusty shotgun again, but then I remembered his whole stupid backstory and all that joy faded...
Instead, let's talk about that badass, fiery suit of amour with the flaming sword. 'Cause that was awesome.
Ben's pretty cool. I hope we don't have to see more of his air baths though...
That strut/reaction shot was hilarious. And it looks like Katrina is going to get a plot of sorts. That's progress, I guess.
I'm glad this show didn't try to take itself more seriously and the chemistry between the leads remains as strong as ever.
So Katrina was useless but watchable as ever. It really sucks that she's actually a decent actor, but has NO CHEMISTRY WHATSOEVER with the guy who's supposed to be her husband, whom she left her former fiance for.
YAY CRANE/ABBIE HUGS AND CRANE/ABBIE FIST-BUMP. Even if a couple of the hugs were from Doppelganger-Ichabod.
Shirtless Horseman gave me very similar "OMG ABS BUT OMG NO HEAD" feelings as I get from Pyramid Head's "OMG ABS BUT OMG FREAKY HELMET" feelings.
Also, Nudist Ben Franklin. That is all.

Even though it was a fake the opening scene was foreshadowing. At some point Jenny and Katrina will die.
Trump delenda estThat first fifteen minutes was great. I'd thought the writers had lost their minds.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. No comments on the newest episode?
I'm not sure what to think of the new sheriff. She reminds me a lot of Captain Gates from Castle, but I like her more personal connection to Abbie. She is ethically dubious, though, forcing those treatments on Irving.
Katrina feels as much The Load as ever—seriously, doesn't she have magic? Why is she so helpless? At least she'll try to do something useful? I admit, I have little faith.
That last scene was definitely an 'Oh, shit!' moment for me. Poor Irving is just can't get a break, can he? I really feel for him.
As far as the Kindred goes, I actually kind of like him. I hope he turns out like a Frankenstein that was not created by a massive dick. I know Abbie and Ichabod have sort of written him off as a monster, but I doubt they'd continue to do so if he showed a more human side.

So, from the incantation used, I'm using that the Kindred is powered by Cthulhu?
I like that we have this hiatus to think over that riddle.
My current interpretation is that between his past as a soldier and the bit with the horseman "sign," Luke will somehow become War. The fandom's been throwing out anyone whose name would fit: Andrew, Francis, Luke, Katrina (as a variation on Catherine)…. It's all entertaining.
