I was being sarcastic. I mean, really.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.i know this has been said before, but let's avoid EA hate thread. any news on obsidian getting in on the action?
I'm baaaaaaackHere's a reason to love EA - at least an EA without John Riccitiello:
No longer will people have to pay extra to play online with a used game.
Jonah Falcon@Ninety: Poe's Law, also sarcastic or not it's getting really annoying...

Give me cute or give me...something?Yeah, already had the pertinent talk. Water under the bridge.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.No need to worry.
Also, should we talk about it in this topic or keep it here?
Remember all the gnashing of teeth and lamentation of this thread?
Well, I don't think we're going to have anything to worry about now...

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.You know, it's funny. Just a month or two ago, we would've been hissing and snarling at EA like usual. Now, so much of the corporate incompetence and greed seems to have shifted to Microsoft, while EA makes several good decisions. Now we are happier to see them work.

I haven't been up to date. What's the reason? Source?
EA announced a new Battlefront being made by DICE at E3.
And The Fandom Exploded.

Their Star Wars games they were working on is moving to different developers. Don't know about whatever other projects they were working on.
Will the rights to Star Wars games ever go to a publisher that doesn't constantly close studios?
Vode An Gra'tua Cuun Bic Ka'rta Tor (Brothers All! Our Vengeance it's One Heart of Justice!)Yeah they say its being tossed back on the drawing board due to 'market trends', basically they couldn't put enough microtransactions into the game so they trashed it.
Except this isn't Arkane Studios
I always was curious as to how Star Wars: Battle Royale would turn out.
Apparently there are rumors that the game in question had been in trouble for a while now. Hopefully it wasn't a Tiberium-level trainwreck.
Still, it's rather odd that a development kerfluffle would result in the dissolution of an entire studio while the project itself continues elsewhere. Is EA internal politics at work again?
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotMan I was looking forward to an epic single-player Star Wars game like Knights of the Old Republic.
I fucking hate how a multiplayer game is the only Star Wars game coming out.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I mean, the Old Republic is basically a single player game in that you can play through the entire main story and not have to work, talk, or fight with anyone else (and the later expansions are essentially single-player games where other players run across your screen occasionally) but aside from that, yeah.

This song needs more love.I mean, even then you still have the whole immersion issues with xxXDarth_Pussy_SLay3rXxx running across your screen in the middle of it all though.
Wasn't he like, Darth Bane's third apprentice?
I thought the Old Republic had a sort of program in effect that prevented players from using plain human names (ex John, Jack, Frank) and any sort of names with combinations that nobody would naturally use in real names (ex J1ll, @lex, Funny_Man, Sexyman, etc)?
^^ Just stop complaining like that please...
Plus, what EA is practicing is also being practiced by other companies, why not blame them too?
