Mukora: Wasn't me, actually; I was just watching a let's play. The guy was making a male Sim, so maybe just female sims have them. Which is still kinda dumb, but not as egregiously awful as I was thinking. My bad.
"We're home, Chewie."Considering the DRM on TS4, it might take awhile, but it will be easier than SimCity. But as mentioned before, that backfired on EA.
Piracy is never good. You want shit? Then pirate games and you'll get more shit.
I read that as "you want stuff? Pirating games will get you more stuff." Fuckin' slang, man
Piracy is always good.free stuff because of overpriceyness of a 60 doller game that ain't worth 60 dollars.
EA should invest in releasing a fake torrent, like the makers of Game Dev Tycoon did.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."Heads rolling, so many heads. Stockholders with axes, chopping the executives down.
I think that people are too hung up over what's not in this game than looking at what it is. Nostalgia blind, possibly, but i'm not great with words so that might be wrong.
This guy gets it, I feel.
I just saw an ad which said, "Don't love it? Return it!" from Origin.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Yeah, they've been doing that for a while. 24 hour refunds.
That's... actually kinda decent. I wouldn't expect that from EA.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Mmm. Have you been following the hullabaloo in Australia about Steam?
Also, as a side note, they totally did the fake torrent thing.
I don't know anything about that thing you just said.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."So I was planning on getting Sims 4, but it probably isn't a great time for it. Should I just hold off on that and get a Sims 3 Expansion that Steam offers? (if so which one would people recommend?)
I'd recommend either Seasons, University Life, Late Night, Generations, or Ambitions. It depends on what you're looking for. Don't get Showtime.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."Those are not included in Sims 3 bundles, so I'll have to pass.
Eh. I'll just wait until Christmas or whatever to get Sims 4.
I have fond, if somewhat faded, memories of The Sims 2.
If I play this game, how disappointed should I expect to be?
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrimIt's shaping up to be something of a reversion to TS 2, so not very.
Eh... I'd say it's more like Sims 1.5
There's a lot of stuff from Sims 2 missing.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."That's why I said they wouldn't be "too" disappointed
'He' is fine, thanks
Anyway, I heard the Sims 3 was pretty bad and all, so is that good? Because the Sims 2 with better graphics is something I can get behind, if not at full price.
What all is cut, anyway?
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrimA lot.
I mean, ignoring stuff that was added in expansions, we're missing: pools, dishwashers, toddler, babies that actually need to be cared for, grocery shopping, ability to place lots wherever you want, terrain manipulation, ability to create ponds, cars, taxis, repairmen, newspaper, burglars, firefighters, cops, gardeners, normal jobs, and more stuff I'm probably forgetting.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Is this an engine change? Has software functionality been sacrificed in the name of better graphics? What?
Because I'm genuinely confused here. Any... positives have been seen?

Either I wait for actually good reviews, or I pirate this shit...pirating sounds a lot cheaper...
