Bouguereau's First Kiss? I think the youthfulness definitely establishes that, and while it may not be the most perfect image, I think it works and it looks good. Page has no image at the moment.

(Also, Willbyr, that image resizer you mentioned works like a charm.)

[tup] Like it too. Only possible downside, really, is the presence of genitalia.

I object that there's nothing indicating it's a "First" kiss.

.... Nah I'm just kidding. [tup] from me.

*screeching brakes*

Hooooold up a sec. I just checked the Wikipedia article on the painting and the Wikimedia gallery for the artist, and according to both, the painting is actually called "L'Amour et Psyche, enfants" (Cupid and Psyche as children) and is not actually called "The First Kiss". I'm retracting my [tup] vote for now...gonna bring this up with the rest of the staff and see what they think.

Well...not for nothing, but why exactly does the title matter? If the picture doesn't work without the title, it's no better than JAFAAC. If the picture works without it, then it works.

The problem is that by being children, they are invoking paedophilia vibes, I assume.

Couldn't we find something where they look young, but not baby young, and they look shy and awkward like the description says? Showing an individual's first kiss would be easier than showing a couple's first kiss.

Maybe, but generally, I prefer to apply Tropes Are Not Narrow to page images.

I don't see a problem with that, it's still a good image.

After discussion, I'm good with the pic...and for the record, it wasn't paedo vibes I was worried about so much as it was it potentially not actually representing the trope. I'll put it up in a sec.

EDIT: Done and tagged, with the title and artist as the caption. Locking up.
